Gregor

Description

At his performance test in 1991 Gregor was described as a much talented dressage stallion, and a sufficiently talented show jumper. His walk was considered to be correct and active, while his trot shows a lot of suppleness and rhythm. Gregor is a well-developed true riding type stallion with a fine front. He received 8’s for his temperament, training report and trot. His walk scored 8.5. Gregor is a natural dressage talent, which he showed in the 1993 National Stallion Competition where he came third in category A.

Gregor’s sire Uniform is a super sire. He was the eye-opener of the 1981 performance test and competed during this period as the leader for his year. Uniform has developed into a very versatile stallion, not only a convincing dressage performer, but as demonstrated by his mark of 9.5 for jumping under saddle, also a skilful show jumper. Uniform won all the saddle classes as a 4 and 5 year old and takes first place in the dressage index of stallions still serving in the Netherlands. Many of his offspring are performing at international level.

Gregor’s dam is Zamira. She has a breathtaking appearance with phenomenal movements, which she consistently passed on to her offspring. Zamira is a daughter of Rinaldo, who holds a 153 index and therefore ranks among the great dressage producers in the Netherlands.

From his first foals, Kennia became North Brabant Champion out of 500 selected foals.
