Sons from the first two crops of our For Romance II were licensed in Vechta and Verden, of which Fortron and Friedrich der Große went on the premium ring of the best of the year. The latter was one of the top prices of the stallion market with a hammer price of 240,000 euros. Fontane won bronze at the Hanoverian Championships under Jacob Schenk with a total of 8.9. The OLHPr.A. HP Summer Breeze advanced to the second Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show. At the German Foal Championships in Lienen, a son and a daughter of For Romance II each finished in the final ring. Another daughter became the top price of the DSP Elite Foal Auction.

For Romance II continued his sporting career under Frederic Wandres with top placings in international young horse advanced (S) level dressage with a result of over 77 percent, after he had already recommended himself by qualifying for the German Championships and the Oldenburg Championships for six-year-old dressage horses. At the P.S.I. Auction, For Romance II was sold to Blue Mountain Farm for 700,000 euros, but remains with its trainer for further promotion – and is thus still available to breeders.

The sire Fürst Romancier placed fourth at the 2009 World Championships for young dressage horses and the German Championships (5y.o.). His numerous successful offspring include the Burg Cup winner and Louisdor Prize bronze medallist First Romance/Dorothee Schneider and the Burg Cup finalist and European Youth Championship silver medallist Fürst Levantino.

For Romance II is the full brother of the Oldenburg Champion Stallion, stallion market price record holder, main premium winner, Burg Cup finalist and Grand Prix successful For Romance I OLD, the also licensed Fürst Donnerhall PS and the Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion, P.S.I. price record holder and S-successful Fasine OLD, who in turn became the dam of Fasino (by Foundation) and the mare A la Fasine (by Apache), who is used for breeding by us, is the dam of the licensed HP Valentino (by Vitalis). From the mating of the El.St. Gesina to Dante Weltino comes our Don Romance PS. With De Niro, Gesina produced the licensed stallion Desino. Her daughter Mount St. John Best of all, descended from Bordeaux, became British Dressage Champion and placed up to the Light Tour. From her, in turn, comes the Vice National Champion and fifth at the German Championships Best of Mount St. John OLD (by Fürst Romancier).

Through the dam’s sires Sir Donnerhall I, himself second Reserve Champion of his licensing, National Champion, stallion performance test record winner, Vice World Champion for young dressage horses and German Champion as well as main premium winner, and Don Schufro, Olympic team bronze winner in Hong Kong/HKG with Andreas Helgstrand/DEN, there are interesting inbreeds of the second sire Donnerhall and the no less formative half-bred Sandro in the later generations of the pedigree.

The granddam Gesine also produced the 1st Reserve Champion Vivaldi’s Schufro (by Vivaldi).

For Romance II comes from the dam line of Voltaire.
