This typical dark brown premium stallion by Diamant de Semilly – Sandro – Ramiro (breeder and exhibitor: Dr. Hilmer Meyer-Kulenkampff, Bruchhausen-Vilsen) is in a class of its own. Sometimes you also have to mention the fourth generation of a young stallion. In this case, Almé stands there and thus completes an ancestral gallery, which actually has legends and lineage founders without exception. Born in the same breeder’s stable as Michael Jung’s Chipmunk, the best eventing horse of the 2019 season, Diro had to step into big hoof tracks during his licensing. And he succeeded! In the beginning, he probably did not want to reveal everything “what he had in it”. But when the jumps became higher and the requirements more serious, he showed his class. According to the motto: the higher, the better! “A well modeled horse, very beautiful, always jumping out of composure. A class of its own on the jump”, says Martin Spoo as mouthpiece of the licensing commission. Diro ́s first foal year convinces with correctly built and typey foals. With a whole blood content of 54.1%, Diro is also well suited as a refiner.
His half-sister “Cecile” von Contendro was the winning mare of the Herwart von der Decken-Schau in 2011 and is now S-successful. Also from Diro’s mother arises the Count Top son Count Sandro, who was able to celebrate successes up to S**.
Diro – pure fortune and manner!
