Here is another fine son of the legendary Stakkato standing at Celle. At his performance test Stakkato won the jumping category out of 37 stallions. With Eva-Maria Bitter in the saddle Stakkato was the unsurpassed winner of the Hanoverian riding horse championship at the Dobrock, as well as overriding federal champion in Warendorf. Never before has a horse achieved the dream points score of 9.9. In addition, there is a whole series of wins in showjumper competitions at novice, elementary and intermediate class. But Stakkato really excels as a stallion. His breeding value scores for jumping are phenomenal. He passes on his jumping ability in an astounding fashion.
On the mares’s side Calido stands out. His sire Cantus who died in 1994 was a successful sire of showjumpers right from the start. Come On, his best known approved son at international level did stud service in South Germany for two years and has now jumped into the German showjumping elite with HRH Haya Bint al Hussein, having meanwhile won Grand Prix and Nations Cups. Further approved Cantus progeny are Cassius Clay (Champion stallion Viernheim 1992), Cascavelle, Canaletto (both private stallions Holstein) and Cyrano (private stallion Hessia). Calido finished the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1994 achieving fourth place. His outstanding jumping ability brought him the almost unbelievable score of 10, as well as the highest jumping index out of 53 stallions. In 1996 he won 22 showjumping competitions up to intermediate class, and was a successful participant at the Federal Championship of the German Showjumping Horse. His first sons were approved in 1998 with Charakter, Charisma, and Crelido. On the dam’s side again is Landjonker 11 by Landadel by Landgraf 1 by Ladykiller. All these stallions are champ showjumpers who have also put their mark in showjumping breeding circles.
Salito did his performance test at Adelheidsdorf in 2004 and he was awarded first place in the jumping category out of 42 stallions in his year. Points given were for character 8, willingness 8, conformation 8, rideability 7 and 7.67, trot 6, canter 6 and 7, walk 6, free jumping 9.17, jumping manner 9.33, jumping technique 9 and cross country 9. This stallion obviously shows true jumping talent. He has 11 state premium mares, 15 auction horses.
