With a lot of similarity to his famous grandparents, this noble black stallion inspired us from the very first moment on the pavement with his extraordinary type and his generous parts throughout his body: Perfect head and neck area, beautifully constructed back, sufficiently long-legged and with correct and strong legs.

At the licensing, his powerful lunge work with a very active hind leg and beautifully carried tail was an absolute highlight. In the canter with an overview, always uphill and with a lot of push-off. Equipped with a great character, he was always turned towards people.

He now confirms all this in his daily work and in his first impressions under saddle.

Total Love’s sire, VTV dressage stallion Total Hope OLD, and his permanent rider Isabel Freese danced unchallenged to victory in the final of the Burgpokal 2019 and the Louisdor Prize 2021 and are currently shining in international dressage with the qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Without a doubt, Total Hope inherited the talent for the highest degrees of gathering from his parents. These are none other than Totilas and Weihegold OLD!

Dam’s sire Licotus, himself VTV dressage stallion of the year 2010, is characterized by the highest degree of nobility, quality of movement and rideability. Licotus’ sporting successes, 56 victories and placings in the advanced (S) class up to the Grand Prix, as well as the successes of his offspring give him a breeding index of 135 points. He has been bred extremely valuable via the thoroughbred Likoto xx and Donnerhall.

In the third generation follows the lesser-known stallion Archipel, an Argentan I son, who was far ahead of his time in terms of gait and agility. Even if his offspring were considered somewhat special under certain circumstances, a disproportionate number were successful up to the highest class.

Total Love comes from a proven Hanoverian mare line. Half-sister Destacada TB (by Destacado) won the mare performance test in June 2023. Half-sister Damon’s Girl (by Damon Hill) became Vice Champion at the DSP Mare Championships 2023 in Darmstadt with a final score of 9.0. Their quality of movement was rated 10.0. The granddam Arielle produced the licensed son Diamond’s Peppy (by Diamond Hit) and six offspring who were successful in sport. The half-sister Starlight (by Sandro Hit) to the dam Leica (by Licotus) produced three licensed sons: premium stallion Damon Cello (by Damon Hill), Beaulissimo (by Belissimo M) up to PSG/Inter I and Don Caballito TB (by Don Schufro) up to PSG/Inter I successful.

Total Love offers a highly interesting mating alternative to expand blood diversity. In the entire pedigree there are no blood parts of the F, R, V and W stallion lines. In the fifth and eighth generations, Sandro Hit and Bolero are representatives of the other stallion lines. The only line breeding goes back to Donnerhall, but also only in the fifth generation.
