The highest of expectations were surpassed by the first batches of foals of Graf Grannus. His first crop in 1993 produced the champion stallion of the Verden stallion approval of 1995 Golden Champ. His progeny impress in competition sport with their great jumping successes year in and year out. They are constantly at the forefront at the Hanoverian showjumping championships on the occasion of the Dobrock competition and at the federal championships. The Verden elite auctions have likewise benefited from Graf Grannus progeny. His sire Grannus is a veritable star as a sire and procrator of international jumpers. At his performance test First Pleasure was given 8’s for character, temperament, willingness to perform under saddle, and conformation. For trot he was given 7, canter 7, walk 7, rideability 7, and for freejumping 9.5, jumping manner 9, jumping technique 10, cross country 8 and rideability over jumps 6.67.
