Dam Tailormade Balonie (1.50 m jump) is sister to the eighth at the European Championships Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL

Offspring successful in 1.60 m show jumping

The offspring of Chac Boy are led by his daughter Chactula PS, who has already achieved success up to 1.60 metres in the course under two-time Team World Champion Gerco Schröder/NED. And then there are BS Chaccalina/Lovisa Stintzing/SWE, Chac Balandro PS/Patrick Crawshaw Pellin/BRA, Chalasanga PS/Christian Marni/ITA, Chacdiamo PS/Patrick Stühlmeyer, Chad Calypso PS/Rossen Raytchev/BUL and Chalina’s Clou PS/Cassio Rivetti/BRA. The licensed son Chacwood PS/Bruno Passaro/ARG is successful in the international youngster tour. The descendants of Chac Boy are highly sought after. At the Hof Kasselmann & Schockemöhle Hybrid Auction, Carepetit PS achieved the top price of 285,000 euros. At the Schockemöhle Show Jumping Online Auctions, Chactula was a top price of 130,000 Euros and her full brother Chac Boy’s Royce was sold for 101,000 Euros.

Chac Boy won Nations Cups and Grand Prix under his sports name Exelero with Nicola Pohl. With Cian O’Connor/IRL in the saddle, he finished eighth in the StädteRegion Aachen-Topspringen at the CHIO Aachen.

The sire Chacco-Blue, himself third in the Grand Prix of Aachen and winner of the Grand Prix of Neumünster, was number one in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires for six years in a row from 2017, ranked second in 2023 and 24 and is now in third place. The elite stallion has Olympic Champion, European Championship individual silver and team bronze medallist and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic sixth Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, European Team Champion Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL, second in the Nations Cup Final Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL and EIC Up Too Jacco Blue, seventh in the World Cup final/Max Kühner/AUT. At almost all championships, Chacco-Blue produced the most offspring. Among his well over 100 licensed sons is the current jumping winner of the Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf.

The dam Tailormade Balonie won 1.50 metre show jumping competitions with Andreas Kreuzer and produced nine international show jumping horses, including Chac Boy’s full brother Chaccobeto, who is successful up to 1.60 metres in show jumping with Emanuele Gaudiano/ITA and is now continuing his career under Elia Simonetti/ITA, as well as Tailormade Calimocho (by Cassalco) and Tailormade Blue Ballon (by Chacoon Blue), both of whom compete with Sören Pedersen/DEN in 1.50 metre competitions.

The dam’s sire Baloubet du Rouet won the World Cup final in 1998 under Rodrigo Pessoa/BRA and repeated this victory in 1999 and 2000. The pair finished the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney/AUS with the team bronze medal. Four years later, both crowned their joint careers with Olympic gold in the individual classification in Athens/GRE. The Selle Francais chestnut, descended from Galoubet, also made a career as a sire. His offspring registered in Germany alone earned over 5.2 million euros, to which his licensed son Chaman/Ludger Beerbaum contributed more than 1.83 million. The breeding balance soon includes 120 licensed sons and more than 120 1.60 metre jumpers, such as the European Championship bronze medallist Dubai du Cedre/Julien Epaillard/FRA, VDL Bubalu/Jur Vrieling/NED, Sydney une Prince/Roger Yves Bost/FRA, Napoly Du Ry/Simon Delestre/FRA, AS Rahmannshof’s Bogeno/Alvaro Mirnada Neto/ESP and South Wind VDL/Cameron Hanely/IRL.

The second dam Alonie Z produced the 1.60 metre jumpers Chaventyno/Todd Minikus/USA and Chacon (both by Chacco-Blue), who finished eighth in the individual ranking and fifth with the team at the 2021 European Championships in Riesenbeck under Eoin McMahon/IRL. Chacon was also part of the second-placed Irish team at the Nations Cup final in Barcelona/ESP.

The third dam Philonie was placed in M show jumping with Christian Ahlmann. She produced the licensed stallion Kilot (by Kannan) and the advanced (S) level show jumper Quick Ball (by Quick Star)/Toni Stormanns.

Trakehner family of Ethel, from which also the licensed stallion Look-O-Look Z (by Le Blue Diamond).
