The typey and strong-moving foals of Zauberlehrling PS are in great demand. His son Zauber was the top price of the Westphalian Foal Auction, selling for 62,000 euros. At the DSP Online Auction, his daughter Zaubermaus was sold for 52,000 euros.

The sport debut of this fantastic premium stallion was equally as spectacular: Victory in the qualification and victory in the final test of the Oldenburg Regional Championships. The consistently high scores in all individual characteristics are impressive: 9.0 for canter and 8.5 for trot, walk, rideability and conformation. At his stallion performance test in Schlieckau, Zauberlehrling also proved to be a model student under saddle. In 2022, he was highly placed in elementary (L) level dressage competitions for young horses.

With Zack, Romanov and Don Schufro, his sire Glock’s Zonik N.O.P. combined the best stallions, who have had a lasting influence on Danish dressage horse breeding and made it one of the most successful worldwide. Ridden by Edward Gal, Glock’s Zonik N.O.P. led the Dutch team to the silver medal at the European Championships in Rotterdam/NED and finished sixth (Freestyle) and eighth (Special) in the individual classes. At the World Cup final in Gothenburg/SWE, the couple also came eighth, after taking seventh place in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special in 2018 at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA. Glock’s Zonik N.O.P. has won twelve international tests at Grand Prix level, the last in Le Mans/FRA with over 80 percent with Hans Peter Minderhoud/NED. Amongst his 14 stallions licensed in Germany, Zucchero Gold (sport name: Zucchero OLD), World Champion of young dressage horses and German Champion, and Zum Glück RS2 OLD, the German Champion and P.S.I. auction star, particularly stand out.

His dam, So Fantastic PS, was placed in young horse classes and has also produced his full brother Zurbaran de la Gesse, who is also licensed and was sold at the Schockemöhle Online Auction. Her full brother Sir Santinos was also approved for breeding.

Thanks to his offspring placed in Grand Prix competitions, including Samhitas/Kelly Layne/AUS, who took part in the Olympic Games, Valentine/Ashley Holzer/USA, who was placed sixth by team at the World Championships, Santiago Song/Thibault Vanderberghe/BEL, who was successful at the European Championships, as well as Sheeran/Jacob Noerby Soerensen/SWE and Cavalia/Jessica Howington/USA, his dam’s sire Sir Donnerhall I is placed among the top three of the WBFSH ranking list of the world’s best dressage sires. He has also produced numerous championship-successful offspring, including the double World Champion dressage horse, Sa Coeur, who is successful in Grand Prix, and the legendary German Champion quintet Sir Heinrich OLD, Cindy OLD, Candy OLD, Caty OLD and Casey OLD from the Wendeln Stud.

His grand-dam Farah is the half sister of Boston Strong/Steffen Peters/USA, who was placed internationally up to Inter I. She produced two licensed stallions: Harmony’s V-Plus, top price of the 39th P.S.I. Auction, participant in the World Championships for young dressage horses, placed at the German Championships and victorious in international St. Georges competitions with Susan Pape, as well as Sir Santos (by Sir Donnerhall I).

In the third generation appear Fürst Romancier and Sandro Hit, which leads to an ideally consolidated line breeding to the important Sandro in the pedigree of Zauberlehrling PS.

Hanoverian dam line of Jedraza, from which descend the stallions Quidams Quarz, Perigueux, Lord Dix, Broadstone Chicago, Furioso Z, Andiamo, Breitling TP, Qantas de L and Jackpot de Mauretus, as well as the 1.50m show jumping horse Conbalou (by Contendro I).
