Grey Top is the first son of Graf Top entering the State Hanoverian Stud Celle. He was awarded third place overall in his performance test and second in the jumping section with 128.98. Singular Joter, his grand sire also stands at Celle and is a sire that produces progeny for both disciplines. He gained an incredible 156.11 for jumping at his performance test and was first out of 72 stallions in his year, with a dressage score of 122. He is described as having a textbook manner with tremendous ability in jumping as well as talent for dressage and passing on his above average gaits. He is Thoroughbred in type and has 6 licensed sons and 138 registered broodmares, 29 of them receiving a state premium award. His daughter Sunrise was Res World Cup Champion in 2007 with Imke Schellekens-Bartels and another daughter was Res Champion of the Oldenburg licensing.
Grey Top displayed unlimited jumping ability during the entire performance test. He convinces with good rideability and three equally good basic gaits. He became reserve champion after the jumper index and placed fifth in dressage. In addition he radiates harmony that can be noticed by every observer right away. He carries very special jumping genes and quality of conformation. At his performance test he was awarded 8 for temperament, 8 character, 7 willingness, 8 ability to perform, 8 rideability, 8.83 jumping, 7 trot, 7.25 canter, 6.84 walk.
