Ninth place at the World Championships for Young Jumpers

What a terrific end to a fantastic season: Neron finished ninth at the World Championships for young show jumpers in Lanaken/BEL, after first places in the two qualifications, under his rider Alexa Stais/CYP. Previously, Neron, who was highly demanded and jumped with the necessary caution, dominated the course competitions at will.

The sire Cornet Obolensky and his offspring, such as the individual European Champion and team vice world champion Clooney/Martin Fuchs/SUI, the World Cup winner and two-time European Championship team silver winner Cornet D’amour/Daniel Deußer, have been among the most successful show jumping sires in the ranking of the World Breeding Association WBFSH for years. His 200 licensed sons worldwide, many of whom are also successful in top-class sport, such as Balou du Reventon/Harry Charles/GBR and Brian Moggre/USA, who finished second in Aachen and ninth in the World Cup, and the team runner-up in the European Championships Comme il faut/Marcus Ehning, also contribute to this top ranking. At the age of eight, Cornet Obolensky already won Grand Prix and Nations Cups under Marco Kutscher, including the Super League Final. In 2008, after winning bronze at the German Championships as well as the Grand Prix of Balve and Cervia/ITA and the Nations Cup of Rotterdam/NED, he was called up to the German Olympic team. In 2011, Cornet Obolensky was part of the German European Championship gold team in Madrid/ESP.

His dam Kantuscha produced several internationally successful show jumping horses, such as Chanell (by Carpaccio), Cypriano (by Cassini II)/Sören von Rönne, Celtic (by Cassini II)/Marten Witt, Hantuscha (by Andiamo)/Olivier Robert/FRA, and Heltic (by Herlad)/Olivier Robert/FRA. Her daughter Equrano (by Canturano I) produced the international show jumper Ice Gold (by Astrello)/Jack Towell/USA.

The grandsire Cantus, himself from the first crop of Caletto I, produced important stallion sons with Come On/Ralf Schneider and Princess Haya of Jordan, Cascavelle, Cassius Clay, Calido I and II, Cellestial and Cyrano. His sporting offspring are led by Olympic silver medallist Calvaro/Willi Melliger/SUI.

The granddam Feine Dame II produced the licensed stallion Carson Ask (by Carnute) and the advanced (S) level show jumpers Cleverboy (by Corrado II)/Christian Heim and PGL Caballevo (by Corrado I)/Linnea Ericsson/SWE.

The third dam Sorinna produced the two licensed stallions Loran (by Lord)/Wolfgang Schade and Marquis (by Mytens xx), the former successful up to Grand Prix dressage, as well as the Grand Prix dressage horse Amadeus (by Akinos)/Bianca Kasselmann and the advanced (S) level show jumper Carito (by Capitol I).

The fourth dam Korinna is the dam of the licensed stallion Rom J (by Romino) and the Grand Prix dressage horse Calgary (by Calypso I)/Frauke Struve.

Holsteiner line 730 B: also the stallions El Camino FH (by Escamillo), Bartlgut’s Dörnberg (by Dante Weltino), United Europ (by Uphill), Chopin (by Contendro I), Lux As (by Lux), Dujos (by Dinken), Castillo (by Carolus I), Montanus (by Moltke I), Catino (by Catoki), Celebes (by Corofino I), Cheops Z (by Crack), Cancoon (by Colman), Companiero (by Colman), Boccaccio (by Baloubet du Rouet), Tout le Monde KH (by Toulon), Le Grand I, II and III (by Lord), Dante (by Darco de Revel), Cascos TN (by Colman), Converse (by L.B. Crumble), Capino (by Caproni), Baldus (by Bachus), Timbel van de Guldennagel (by Pomerol), Zornell I and II (by Zirocco Blue) and numerous others, as well as sport horses in dressage and jumping.
