Fürst Romancier is the father of numerous Grand Prix winners, including First Romance/Dorothee Schneider, Burg Cup winner, third in the Louisdor Prize and internationally successful up to World Cup freestyles, as well as Fioretto/Anu Sironen/FIN, Fürst Enno/Juliane Brunkhorst, Fürst Fritz/Daniel Pinto/POR, Ghio/Nars Gottmer/NED, Woodcroft Furst Romance/Tara Olver Donohoe/IRL and the three-time European Youth Vice Champion and seventh in the Piaff Sponsorship Award, DSP First Class with Lia Welschof, who won team gold and freestyle bronze at the Junior European Championships in 2025 under his new rider Viktoria von Braunmühl.

The more than 40 licensed sons of Fürst Romancier also include the two-time Champion Stallion and Grand Prix successful For Romance I OLD/Therese Nilshagen/SWE and Fashion Prinz OLD, gold winner at the Oldenburg Championships under Frederic Wandres, fourth at the German Championships, second top price at the P.S.I. Auction with 750,000 Euros and bronze winner at the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses in 2022, after he had won the final qualification in Ermelo/NED. In 2023, Fashion Prinz OLD placed in the final of the German Championships under Annika Feldhaus and won gold again at the Oldenburg Championships. In the meantime, S-level successes have been recorded.

Among the daughters of Fürst Romancier, the For Romance I OLD full sister Fasine OLD, Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion, P.S.I. auction top and Inter II placed under Rudolf Widmann, stands out, as well as the Holstein dressage champion mare and championship silver medallist My Romanciera, Herwart by the blanket show reserve champion Flavienne and the Swiss reserve champion mare SJ Flandia CH.

The offspring who have been successful in sport include the European Youth Championships team runner-up Fürst Levantino/Marlene Sieverding, Fürstenhit/Noemi Zindel/SUI and Flora del Castegno/Monica Scotto Di Carlo/ITA, who were also successful at the European Youth Championships, as well as the newly crowned Hanoverian dressage champion Fürst GG/Kira Goerens-Ripphoff.

Princess D’Amour, descended from Fürst Romancier, changed hands as a top price of 82,000 euros via our Helgstrand/Schockemöhle Online Foal Auction.

Fürst Romancier himself was the Oldenburg Ia main premium winner. In 2009, he was the most successful stallion of his age group and placed fourth at the World Championships for young dressage horses and the German Championships.

The sire Fürst Heinrich, 2001 licensing winner, 2002 Oldenburg main premium winner and 2003 dressage horse world champion (5y.o.), produced over 50 licensed stallions, including our licensing and main premium winner, German champion and main sire Fürstenball.

The dam Ronja also produced DSP Scarletti (by S. San Amour) and the freestyler (by Prince Heinrich) placed in St. Georges dressage. The licensed stallion Master Piece (by Morricone I), who is successful in M** dressage, and the Schattentänzer (by Morricone I), who is successful in international junior dressage, are produced by the Fürst Romancier half-sister Raguel (by Rosario). The dam’s sire Romancier, himself successful as far as St. Georges, comes from the Olympia line of Dodona, from which Rembrandt/Nicole Uphoff, Ahlerich/Dr. Reiner Klimke, Amon and Rubinstein descend.

The granddam Edwina, through her daughter Betwina (by Johnson), is also the granddam of the Grand Prix mare Idwinaretto (by Everdale)/Yvonne Losos de Muniz/DOM.

Fürst Romancier represents the valuable Oldenburg line of Edoste, which also includes the German Champion and European Championship starter Exupéry, the Vice German Champion Landjuwel Gold, the Olympic Grand Prix horse Petit Prince/Ellen Bontje/NED, the German Champion Avignon and the international show jumping winners Questa Vittoria/Thomas Kleis and Quintera/Leon Thijssen/NED as well as the premium stallion Total Unique.
