Description

At the Hanoverian stallion licensing in Verden, this son of Foundation (breeder: Dr. Michael Lühs, Wagenfeld) impressed with three outstanding gaits. A spitting image of his father, he captivated the judges with a loose and elastic movement and strong hindquarter activity.

Foundation, the sire, has achieved international victories at the Grand Prix level with Matthias Alexander Rath, including wins in Le Mans and Nice (FRA), Leudelange (LUX), Mallorca and Valencia (ESP), Wiener Neustadt (AUT), Frankfurt, Mannheim and Wiesbaden. In 2019, he was part of the second-placed German Nations Cup team in Falsterbo (SWE).

The Arlira dam line has already produced the highly successful dressage horses Jasper by Jonkheer up to S level, Jenson by Jerome II up to Grand Prix, Gina Royal OLD by Grosso Z up to Grand Prix Special, Foenix by Fontainebleau up to St. George, Royal sugar by Royal Dance up to St. George, White Rubin by White Star up to Inter I, Rubico by Rohdiamant up to St. George, Remy by Rothschild up to Grand Prix Special, Warrant (VA) by Wendelin up to St. George, Leonardo by Diskus up to St. George, Aragon by Ambro xx up to S level, and Juwelier by Jerome II up to Inter I.

For his outstanding 50-day test in Schlieckau, which he completed with a score of 8.49, Freigeist was awarded the Weltmeyer Prize. He also sired numerous winners at foal shows in the 2022 season. In 2023, Freigeist made his competition debut and immediately achieved a top placing in the Class A dressage horse test. He has since become a winner in Class M dressage horse tests.
