Willingness to perform is genetically anchored
A glance at the pedigree alone underpins the special position of First Magic: the famous mare lines of Gesina, from which our champion stallions Feinrich and Viva Romance PS originate, and Marella, from which our main sire Fürstenball originates, are combined here in an almost magical way. Already at his licensing in 2024 in Ankum, First Magic won the sympathy of the licensing commission and the professional audience alike.
Now we are eagerly awaiting the first crop of the First Magic.
The sire For Romance I, himself out of the aforementioned stallion dam Gesina, started his career as Oldenburg Champion Stallion and main premium winner. In terms of sport, the qualification for the German Championships for young dressage horses, participation in the Burg Cup final and placings in the Grand Prix class under Therese Nilshagen/SWE are on the books. Soon 80 sons of For Romance I were licensed, including champion stallions such as Fashion in Black NRW. From his more than 50 award-winning daughters, the champion mares Fabella Noir F in Westphalia and Heideromanze in Oldenburg stand out. Furthermore, numerous champion foals and auction tops are to his credit. His offspring, who have been successful at many championships, are led by the Grand Prix horses Forsazza de Malleret/Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, Donja KWG/Greta Heemsoth and For Final/Therese Nilshagen/SWE as well as by the bronze medallist at the World Championships for young dressage horses and fourth in the Burg Cup For Magic Equestra FRH/Beata Stremler/POL.
The dam Magic Moon S was Reserve Champion Mare at the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede in 2016 and placed in medium level dressage with Maria Falkner Hansen/DEN.
The dam’s sire is the Vivaldi son Desperado, who won his stallion performance test in 2011, triumphed at the Pavo Cup in the Netherlands as a four-year-old, then finished seventh and eighth at the World Championships for young dressage horses and was part of the European Championship silver team in Rotterdam/NED in 2019 under his trainer Emmelie Scholtens/NED. The pair has numerous victories and placings in the Grand Prix arenas in Aachen, Aarhus/DEN, Mechelen/BEL, Stockholm/SWE and Amsterdam/NED. The more than 20 licensed sons include Asgard’s Ibiza, Next Level and Jack Sparrow. His sporty offspring are themselves successful in Grand Prix.
The third dam Maradita produced the Champion Stallion Hit (by Sandro Hit), who won Grand Prix with Juliane Brunkhorst, as well as Silver Black OLD (by Sandro Hit)/Marta Pena Montaner/ESP, who was also licensed and successful up to Inter I.
The fourth dam Marella is grandmother to our main sire Fürstenball (by Prince Heinrich).
The stallions Winehouse (by Wynton; PSG)/Maria Falkner Hansen/DEN, Desiderio (by Dimaggio; St. Georges)/Susan Pape/GBR, Fideel (by Freedom Z), Sir of Freedom (by Sir Donnerhall I), Ozzy TN (by Asgard’s Ibiza), Daktylius OLD (by Don Romantic; St. Georges) or Hotshot (by Hotline) as well as the sport horses Vertigo (by Vivaldi; Grand Prix)/Gete Ayache/EST, Za Pano (by Zonik; Inter II), VIP Mount St. John (by Vivaldi; Inter I)/Emma Blundell/GBR, Zome Zin (v. Zack; Inter I)/Przemyslaw Kozanowski/POL or Maritza (v. Zack; Inter I)/Janet Seccull/AUS.
