Sire Ehrentusch from the NRW State Stud in Warendorf won his performance test in 1987 and took second place at the DLG fair in Frandkfurt and then trained up to Grand Prix. He has more than 10 licensed sons and his offspring are successful in all disciplines.
The dam Florence also produced Estobar’s two full brothers, Ehrendorf (Warendorf) and Eichendorff, top priced horse at the 2001 NRW Elite Auction who won international Grand Prix. Florence also produced licensed stallions Moliere and Marquise Monet.
Ferragamo is a Furioso 11 grandson bred in Rhineland and was 2nd Res Champion at the 1992 licensing in Munster-Handorf and then became Res Champion at his performance test in Warendorf. Ferragamo produced 17 licensed sons and nearly 40 state premium mares including the champion mare Ferragama.
In the third generation is Florestan 1, a trademark stallion in Rhineland and Westphalian breeding. The stallions Fruhlingstraum 1 and 11, Bertoli W as well as the successful competition horse Amaretto (Isabell Werth- German Dressage Champion in 1997) descend from this dam line too.
In 2006 Estobar NRW was the undisputed Champion Stallion of the 16th NRW main licensing in Munster-Handorf. In 2007 he did his 30 day test and finished with awesome scores: rideability (9.38) trot (9.06) character (9) canter (8.94) walk (8.31) and ability to jump (7.63). He also won the prestigious Westfalen-Wappen Prize by a good margin. In 2008 Estobar continued his successful career in an impressive manner under Ingrid Klimke winning in novice (A) and elementary (L).
In 2009 Estobar did his 70 day stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf finishing with a sensational dressage index of 154.74 making him a clear winner. He scored 9 for temperament, 8 willingness, 9 rideability, 9 trot, 8.59 canter, 8 walk. Under Wolfhard Witte he won several times in dressage horse classes M and qualified easily for the prestigious National Championships. He has a powerful hindquarter and a strong back.
Estobar’s full brother Eichendorf was top-priced horse of the Elite Auction in North Rhine-Westphalia and successfully competes at international level under Victoria Max Theurer.
Estobar NRW’s first foal crop in 2010 more than met all expectations. His foals are exceedingly modern in type with strong movements and several of them were sold for high prices through the NRW Pedigree Auction. Here is a very special stallion. He has 3 licensed sons, 2 state premium mares and 7 auction horses.
