With a high degree of sportiness and dynamics, the first foals of the Dourking Hero Z caused a sensation – and were accordingly sought-after at the auctions.

No less extraordinary are the course performances of the high-flyer Dourking Hero Z, who has already testified to his talent with serial victories up to show jumping tests for young horses in M class and scores up to 8.7. This, together with his highly rated stallion performance test and his successful sire debut, gives us great hope for the future.

The sire Dourkhan Hero Z won the Grand Prix of Hamburg with Christian Ahlmann in the saddle, was second in Maastricht/NED and Geneva/SUI, fourth in Mexico/MEX and also placed in the top ten in Paris/FRA, Madrid/ESP and Brussels/BEL. The 2022 Vice World Champion of seven-year-olds, who combines the lines of the sire stars Diamant de Semilly, Chin Chin, Zandor Z and Calvaro Z, produced 16 licensed sons. He goes back to the same mare line as our Dourking Hero Z: in Dourkhan Hero Z, the famous Atoucha van ‘t Roosakker is the third dam, in the pedigree of Dourking Hero Z she follows in fourth place.

The dam Queen Kinmar Hero Z placed with Sergo Alvarez Moya/ESP and Erynn Ballard/CAN in 1.50 meter show jumping. Her full brother Kadco Hero Z is successful in the course with Pedro De Andrade Costa/BRA up to 1.40 meter jumping. The half-sister Datchea Queen Hero Z (by Dominator 2000 Z) was in the World Championships for young show jumpers in 2024 and 25 for five- and six-year-olds.

The dam’s sire is Kassander van ‘t Roosakker Z, who was internationally successful under Gregory Wathelet/BEL, whose dam Electra van ‘t Roosakker was successful in 5* show jumping competitions with Janika Sprunger/SUI and Jos Lansink/BEL. Electra van ‘t Roosakker is the granddaughter of one of the most famous broodmares in the world, Usha van ‘t Roosakker. Several sons of Kassander van ‘t Roosakker Z were licensed, including Picobello van ‘t Roosakker, who was placed with Steve Guerdat/SUI and Jason Smith/SUI up to 1.50 m show jumping.

The second dam Attoucha was successful in 1.60 meter show jumping with Paris Sellon/USA.

In the further pedigree of Dourking Hero Z, the show jumping sire hero Aganix de Seigneur and again Diamant de Semilly, Darco and Chin Chin follow.

The great-granddam MoM’S Gatoucha van ‘t Roosakker was also successful in the sport: with Michael Korompis/NED and Kirsten Rombouts/BEL she achieved successes up to 1.50 meter show jumping. From her highly successful jumping offspring, Kastello (by Echo van ‘t Spieveld; 1.45 m-Spr.)/Megan Laseur/NED, Maestro van ‘t Roosakker (by Couletto; 1.45 m-Spr.)/Maggie Hill/USA, Tinkoucha Hero Z (by Tinka’s Boy; 1.60 m-jump)/Leonie Peeters/BEL and H5 Alana Hero Z (by Aganix du Seigneur Z; 1.50 m-Spr.)/Hannes Symons/BEL, the latter two of whom in turn became dams of international show jumpers.

The fourth dam Atoucha van ‘t Roosakker produced three top horses: in addition to the aforementioned MoM’S Gatoucha van ‘t Roosakker and Falco van ‘t Roosakker (by Berlin; 1.60 m-Spr.)/Eugenio Grimaldi/ITA and Electra van ‘t Roosakker (by Carthago Z; 1.60 m-Spr.)/Jos Lansink/BEL. The latter also became the dam of Kent Farrington’s Kaprice (by Echo van ‘t Spieveld; 1.60 m-spr.). Their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren have produced other internationally highly successful jumpers and licensed stallions.
