|Guarde Royal xx|
|Markus Deak xx||Matka|
Don Darius is sired by the top hereditary transmitter Don Frederico. See information about this stallion under his section below.
The dam sire Markus Deak was born in Hungary and derives from the stallion line of Northern Dancer xx. His grandsire, the famous Ile de Bourbon xx presented numerous racecourse champions. Markus Deak xx absolved his stallion performance test among Warmblood sires in Adelheidsdorf in 1999, asserting himself in the forefront of 36 contenders with clearly above average rideability values.
Don Darius was reserve champion of the 300 day performance test and he finished second in dressage with 139.73 points and was 12th in jumping. This is the second son of Don Frederico to be stabled at Celle and he should be very interesting to breeders because of the Thoroughbred influence of his grand sire.
Don Darius became reserve champion in the dressage as well as the overall index. This blood-influenced colt created a stir already as a foal. At his performance test he showed three far above average basic gaits and very good rideability which points the way for a successful future. He gained 8 for character, 8 temperament, 8 willingness, 8 ability to perform, 9 rideability, 7.11 jumping ability, 8.84 trot, 8.92 canter, 9 walk. He has 11 state premium mares.
