Continental Blue with Philip Rüping recorded top placings in the Grand Prix of Herning/DEN, Neumünster, Oldenburg, Lier/BEL and Neustadt/Dosse. This extremely wiry athlete thus seamlessly continued his series of successes in show jumping competitions for young horses and later in international young horse competitions.
Continental Blue was licensed in 2020 and achieved the required personal performance through his sporting successes.

Soon 80 of his sons were licensed, including the two-time Champion Stallion Conthalou, our Continental Blue, who was placed at the front in Grand Prix, our Oldenburg State Champion Conkanno PS, and the serial winner in show jumping tests, Conthalor Blue PS, as well as the Westphalian Champion Stallion Con Touch RS, the Premium Stallion and OS Main Premium Winner Coeur Rouge and the current Show Jumping Winner and Reserve Champion from Mecklenburg.

The dam’s sire Chacco-Blue, himself third in the Grand Prix of Aachen and winner of the Grand Prix of Neumünster, was number one in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires for six years in a row from 2017, ranked second in 2023 and 24 and is now in third place. The elite stallion has Olympic Champion, European Championship individual silver and team bronze medallist and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic sixth Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, European Team Champion Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL, second in the Nations Cup Final Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL and EIC Up Too Jacco Blue, seventh in the World Cup final/Max Kühner/AUT. At almost all championships, Chacco-Blue produced the most offspring. Among his well over 100 licensed sons is the current jumping winner of the Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf.
The granddam Kirigold produced eight international top horses, led by Bobby Balou (by Baloubet du Rouet)/Pål Flam/NOR, who was successful in 1.60 metre show jumping, and the three 1.50 metre jumpers Cargoldo (by Cartoon)/Marcel Wegfahrt, Spartacus (by Chacco-Blue)/Dirk Demeersman/BEL and Chalano Gold (by Chacco-Blue)/Galatu Jiri/CHN.
