Conthalor Blue PS put in a brilliant performance with Alexa Stais/CYP: serial victories in show jumping tests for young horses with scores up to 8.8, second in the qualification for the Deister Championships with 9.3, fifth in the first course at the German Championships for six-year-olds with 8.5 and first international placings in the youngster tours.

Conthalor Blue PS, who is closely related to Scott Brash’s current Geneva, Shanghai and Doha winner Hello Chadora Lady through the line of Penny Lover, produced champion foals from his very first crops.

Conthargo’s sire produced a series of top horses, including the Olympic jumpers Conthargo-Blue/Eiken Sato/JPN and Condara/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN, the European Championships show jumpers Caept’n Hoek/Armando Trapote/ESP, the Pan American Games-winning Pia Contra/Nicolas Pizarro/MEX and Abril Iconthon/Leandro Moschini/ARG, and the 1.60-metre show jumpers Costa Quick PS/Mario Deslauriers/CAN, Conchado/Ignacio Maurin/ARG, Cobalino PS/Martin Knudsen/DEN, Concare PS/Mark Bluman/COL, Conchento PS/Gregory Wathelet/BEL, Concona/Ben Maher/GBR, Ciara PS/Simone Blum, sixth at the German Championships and the individual gold medallist at the Junior European Championships in Gorla Minore/ITA, Tailormade Contou/Anastasia Nielsen/MON, and the team gold winner, Conthanja/Coen Williams/IRL. Soon 80 of his sons were licensed, including the two-time Champion Stallion Conthalou, our Continental Blue, who was placed at the front in Grand Prix, our Oldenburg State Champion Conkanno PS, and the serial winner in show jumping tests, Conthalor Blue PS, as well as the Westphalian Champion Stallion Con Touch RS, the Premium Stallion and OS Main Premium Winner Coeur Rouge and the current Show Jumping Winner and Reserve Champion from Mecklenburg.

The dam’s sire, the For Pleasure son Firth of Lorne, was introduced to the sport by Gerd Könemann and Franz-Josef Dahlmann, then collected international successes under Katrin Eckermann, including victories in the Grand Prix of Hamburg and the Nations Cup of Falsterbo/SWE, and finally switched under the saddle of Marcus Ehning. The pair won the Nörten-Hardenberg Championships and was third in the Stawag Prize in Aachen. The offspring of the Firth of Lorne, especially the premium stallion Franco/Mathias Nørheden Johansen/DEN and the also licensed For Daddy/Cormac Hanley/IRL, are on the road internationally.

The granddam Chaccenta produced the eight international show jumpers Corbluecenta (by Cornet’s Balou)/Péter Szuhai/HUN, Cornacenta PS (by Cornet’s Balou)/Philip Rüping, Cornet’s Blue (by Cornet’s Balou), Cornetta PS (by Cornet’s Balou), Malibu (by Messenger), Duke of Blue (by Diaron), Messbluecento PS (by Messenger)/Aron Vale/USA and Diachaccenta PS (by Diaron)/Marvin Jüngel, 2025 finalist at the German Championships for seven-year-olds.

The third dam Pennycent produced the two licensed stallions Balou Lover (by Baloubet du Rouet)/Daniel Bluman/COL and Chacco Lover aka. Diablo Blanco (by Chacco-Blue)/José María (jr) Larocca/ARG as well as nine other top show jumpers: Bacentus (by Balou du Rouet)/José María (jr) Larocca/ARG, Gabbiano (by Grandino)/Ulrich Kirchhoff/UKR, H5 Messentus PS (by Messenger)/Enrique Gonzalez/MEX, Londocento (by Carembar de Muze)/Remo Allgäuer, Edelweiss du Mt Rouge (by Carembar de Muze), Sinibad-H (by Shere Khan du Banney), Chilli Penny PS (by Chac Boy)/Steffen Eikenkötter, Vivant’s Penny PS (by Vivant van de Heffinck) and Baloubento (by Baloubet du Rouet)/Christian Temme.

The fourth dam Penny Lover produced the licensed stallion Mesulot PS (by Messenger)/Eiken Sato/JPN and eight other top show jumpers: Carthago Lover (by Carthago)/Bastian Freese, Kannan Lover (by Kannan)/Bianca Lafontaine/CAN, Cabalot PS (by Cabachon), Chincento (by Cento), Sandus (by Sandro Boy), Chatus Blue PS (by Chacco-Blue), Filous Love (by Filou de Muze) and Kanlata (by Kannan)/Mathis Schwentker. The latter produced the 1.60 metre show jumper Chacanntus (by Chacco-Blue)/Andrew Kocher/USA under her breeding name Penny Anne.
