Chaloubino PS once again lived up to his reputation as an absolute model athlete. The seventh place at the World Championships for young show jumpers, two-time vice German and Oldenburg state champion as well as Deister champion, jumped to second place in the Sires of the World final in Lanaken/BEL and third place in the Grand Prix of Rastede with rapid flawless performances under Patrick Stühlmeyer. And that, mind you, as just eight-year-old and thus youngest in these prestigious decisions. In the 2025 season, 14 international victories and top ten placings in courses up to 1.50 metres were added to the already bulging success account of the Chaloubino PS.
Numerous top foals were sold via the auction grounds.
The sire Chacoon Blue achieved top placings in the world ranking show jumping competitions of Frankfurt, Kronenberg/NED, Lanaken/BEL and Oldenburg under his rider Philip Rüping against strong competition, after he had previously placed in the youngster tours of Munich, Neumünster, Paderborn and Opglabbeek/NED. Chacoon Blue already hinted at his unlimited possibilities in 2014 at his stallion performance test in Schlieckau, which he completed with a magnificent final score of 9.4. In 2015, after winning the Deister Championships on the Dobrock, he placed in the final of the German Championships (6y.o.). In 2016, after his first successes in the international youngster tour, he won silver at the Warendorf Youngster Championships (7y.o.). Once again, his enormous bascule, his sparkling clean technique and his almost exemplary rideability were impressive. His offspring Check me out PS/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN, Billy Fern/David Simpson/IRL, Kannoon Blue/Trevor Breen/IRL, Chatadel PS/Erynn Ballard/CAN, Chacoon Fly PS/Manuel Fernandez Saro/ESP, Caen vd Verbindingshoeve Z/Sergio Alvarez Moya/ESP, Chucky PS/Marcel Schneider and Calido’s Blue/Clara Blau and Iggy/Peder Fredricson/SWE carry the ingenious performance legacy of Chacoon Blue into arenas around the globe with their sensational successes in jumping up to 1.55 metres. Mr Rocky Blue won team gold at the Junior European Championships with Paddy Reape/IRL. Bronze at the German Championships for seven-year-olds went to Chacboy Blue/Marco Kutscher, silver at the Danish Championships to Clevermind Axelhoeve Z. And then there is another success for the history books: In 2024, Chacoon Blue produced Chacoona Cat/Sophie Hinners and Chaqueen/David Will, the two German champions of six- and seven-year-old show jumpers. Both talents are already continuing their careers internationally. Among the more than 60 licensed sons of Chacoon Blue is our Chacord GB/Alexa Stais/CYP became Vice Champion at the Dobrock Championships and won a series of show jumping tests for young horses, including the final qualification at the German Championships. Challasco Blue PS, who is also stationed with us, secured eighth place at the German Championships for five-year-olds under Patrick Stühlemeyer, after his stallion performance test record victory and his title win at the Oldenburg State Championships. Chacoothargos PS OLD/Philip Rüping won silver at the German and Oldenburg State Championships (5y.o.). Chacoon Blue also repeatedly sets sensational auction tops. For example, his daughter Chacoontilotta PS was the top price of the 46th P.S.I. auction for 3.5 million euros.
The half-brother of Chaloubino PS, Viva Cent (by Vivant), is internationally successful with Tamás Mráz/HUN up to 1.60 m show jumping and finished second, third, fourth, sixth and eighth in the Grand Prix of Samorin/SVK, Bábolna/HUN, Stadl-Paura/AUT and Budapest/HUN.
The dam’s sire Centadel, himself a son of Otto Becker’s team Olympic and World Cup winner Cento, achieved international success under Florian Meyer zu Hartum. Numerous offspring have long been placed internationally themselves, such as NKH Cento Blue/Shawn Casady/USA, who won the 1.60 metre Grand Prix of Vancouver/USA. Centadel is also on the dam’s sire side with the World Championship jumper and in Hagen a.T.W., Redefin, Braunschweig and Kronenberg, Chadellano JRA/Eiken Sato/JPN and Emanuele Camilli/ITA.
The granddam Baloufina, full sister to the World Cup jumping winner and European Championship participant Coral Reef Baloufino/Vinton Karrasch/USA and Angel Niagolov/BUL, was internationally successful in the sport up to 1.60 meter course. In 2010 she placed with Jessie Drea/GBR at the Junior European Championships in Jardy/FRA and won the Nations Cup in Hagen a.T.W. She is the dam of the 1.60 metre jumper Lafino (by Lawito)/Katie Harris/USA and the internationally successful Stabalou (by Stakkatol). Baloufina’s daughter Balunaika (by Cafe au lait) produced the licensed stallion Celoubet (by Cento) and daughter Caloufina (by Casio) the 1.45 metre show jumpers Salouba (by Sir Shutterfly) and Corfina PS (by Cortez).
The pedigree is followed by Baloubet du Rouet and Continue.
