Top international rankings

Granddam Quintera placed internationally in 1.60 metre course

Oldenburg tribe of the Edoste

For Casalou PS, international placings up to 1.40 metre courses are on the track under Zascha Nygaard/DEN. Previously, he recorded victories and placings in international youngster tours, placed in the final of the German Championships in Warendorf and was also successful at the World Championships for young show jumpers in Lanaken/BEL. In 2022, he finished ninth at the German Championships and took bronze at the Oldenburg State Championships. Casalou PS finished his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 2021 with a total of 8.63 as reserve champion behind his station neighbor Chaccothago Blue PS. For his fortune, the judges pulled out the 9.5.

The foals of Casalou PS inspire with generous mechanics and give rise to the highest hopes.

His sire Casallco attracted attention early on: as OS Reserve Champion, Ib main premium winner, ideal jumper (three times the dream score of 10) and German Championships qualifier. In the meantime, he won silver at the German Championships under Philip Rüping, won the Grand Prix of Opglabbeek/BEL, was second in the Grand Prix of Herning/DEN and in Paderborn, fourth in the Sires of the World final in Lanaken/BEL, fifth in the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck, sixth in the Grand Prix of Stockholm/SWE, seventh in the Grand Prix of Lastrup and went double clear in the Nations Cup of Drammen/NOR. The offspring of Casallco, who have already been successful up to 1.60 metre show jumping, helped their sire – as one of the youngest sires – to jump into the top 30 in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires. Acajou/Ilan Bluman/COL won in Ocala/USA, Cavoiro – H OLD/Roy van Beek/BEL was unbeatable in Deauville/FRA, Casa Diva PS/Álvaro González de Zarate Fernandez/ESP led the competition in Vejer de la Frontera/ESP, Iron Dames Casa Blue PS/Katrin Eckermann was successful in Prague/CZE, COM’on Coffee PS/Zascha Nygaard/DEN in Rome/ITA and Casallco’s George PS/Maximilian Lill in Wiesbaden. Casallco’s offspring also include the 2023 World Champion for young show jumpers and Iron Dames Cascajall NRW/Katrin Eckermann, who has already been placed in 1.50 metre show jumping, and the vice world champion for young show jumpers and 770,000 Euro P.S.I. auction offer Casanina PS/Juan Pablo Jimenez Torres/MEX, who already has placings in 1.45 metre show jumping. Other P.S.I. auction highlights are the Chyazint (1.50 m-spr.)/Jens Baakmann and Casabea Blue PS (1.50 m jump), which was knocked down for 1.6 million euros./Emanuele Camilli/ITA. More than ten sons of Casallco were licensed, including the aforementioned OS licensing winner, stallion performance test jumping winner and internationally successful up to 1.60 m show jumping Cavoiro – H OLD/Roy van Beek/BEL. At the German Foal Championships, a son finished fifth on the final ring. And the Casallco daughter Casa mia was a 20,500 Euro jumping price at the elite foal in Hagen a.T.W.

The dam Balcanna produced other offspring with international success: Livellouet (by Livello; 1.45 m jump), Chabalcanna PS (by Chacoon Blue; 1.35 m jump) and Casalou full sister Calsacanna Star PS (1.40 m jump).

Dam’s sire Balou du Rouet, who was also successful in advanced show jumping, sired the two-time Olympic team silver medallist and individual eighth Baloutinue/Laura Kraut/USA, the World Championships individual and European Championship team bronze medallist and World Cup eighth Bianca/Steve Guerdat/SUI, the two European Championship team bronze medallists Equitron Naxcel V/Gerfried Puck/AUT and Saura de Fondcombe/Nadja Peter Steiner/SUI as well as the individual bronze medallist of the European Eventing Championships Corouet/Sarah Bullimore/GBR and the Millstreet bronze medallist Barrichello/Cathal Daniels/IRL. He is not only by far the most successful son of his famous father, the Olympic champion and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet, but is also currently one of the world’s best show jumping and eventing sires according to the WBFSH.

The granddam Quintera placed in international 1.60 metre courses with Leon Thijssen/NED and Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski/POL. She also produced the 1.45 meter jumper Lost in You (by Douglas) and the Clinton’s Star (by Clinton), who was successful in the 1.40 meter course.

The pedigree includes the two evergreens Kannan and Quick Star.

The third dam Quicosse produced other international show jumping horses, such as Quality Street (by Calvaro Z; 1.60 m jumping), Conthicosse PS (by Conthargos; 1.45 m), Kacosse (by Kannan; 1.45 m), Kaskari (by Kannan; 1.45 m), Cendimo’s Star PS (by Centadel; 1.35 m) and Quilara (by Calvaro Z). The latter placed with Andreas Kreuzer in 1.40 metre show jumping competitions and produced the licensed and internationally successful Sanvaro (by Sandro Boy), the 1.50 metre jumper Sandrilo (by Sandro Boy)/Maximilian Lill and other 1.45 metre show jumpers. The Quicosse daughter Carcosse Z (by Carthago) produced the premium stallion Cinnamon (by Chacco-Blue; 1.50 m-Spr.). The Quicosse daughter Cosena (by Chacco-Blue) became the dam of the full brothers Cocosse PS (1.55 m jump) and Coseno-Blue PS (both by Conthargos; 1.50 m jump). Calcosse (by Calvaro Z) produced the 1.50 metre jumper Vivacosse PS (by Vivant van de Heffenick).

Oldenburg line of the Edoste, from which also our dressage sire Fürst Romancier and numerous other stallions, show jumping and dressage horses.
