An eye-catcher in a dark jacket, expressive and powerful with a pedigree of the special class. Enormous movement potential in all three basic gaits characterize this youngster.

On his father’s side, he leads the famous Bretton Woods, which is characterized by body harmony and outstanding basic gait quality. When he received the bronze medal at the World Championship of Young Dressage Horses for five-year-olds, he attracted attention for the first time. Later he succeeded in entering the international stage under Matthias Alexander Rath.

The mother of our youngster passed an outstanding mare performance test. For example, the state premium mare “Fleet-Street” is recommended with an average score of 8.99. In addition to Birmingham, she also brought the licensed sons Dahlhoff of De Niro and Quota King of Quaterback.

After his successful tournament debut in 2018, where he was victorious several times in dressage horse tests of class A with 8 marks, he continued his winning streak in 2019. His first starts in dressage horse tests of class L were rewarded several times with the golden ribbon, so that he secured the qualification for the Bundeschampionat. In Warendorf itself, he convinced in particular with his outstanding rideability, which the judges rewarded with a 9.0.

He also completed his sports test 2018 with fantastic marks:
Trot 8.5
Canter 8.2
Step 8.3 Rideability 8.3

Overall impression 8.5
Dressage-oriented final mark 8.34

Birmingham’s first foal years are convincing all along the line. In Verden he topped the price of the foal auction with “Bea Birmingham” from a Londonderry dam. For 28,000 euros, the top foal left the auction stage.

It is never the “right time” to let a horse go, but this stallion really had his whole life ahead of him. In 2020, Birmingham died of renal insufficiency.
