The powerful jumping Methargos Blue PS represents the narrowly flowering, but highly successful stallion line of the Montender, who won individual and team bronze at the Olympic Games in Athens/GRE under Marco Kutscher in 2004 and secured double gold at the European Championships in San Patrignano/ITA the following year. The Belgian dam line, which has already produced numerous course tops, has also proven its performance.

Mesulot PS, by the way closely related to our top stallion Conthalor Blue PS, collected numerous placings in the Youngster Tour under Eiken Sato/JPN and Philip Rüping, after he had previously won a series of show jumping tests for young horses with scores up to 9.2 and was able to secure bronze at the Warendorf Championships for seven-year-olds under Eiken Sato/JPN.

The reigning Oldenburg Regional Champion of six-year-olds and sixth of the 18th Deister Championships, Eltharga PS OLD (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek)/Alexa Stais/CYP, comes from the dam Contharga Blue.

The dam’s sire Conthargos produced top horses in series, including the Olympic jumpers Conthargo-Blue/Eiken Sato/JPN and Álavro González de Zarate/ESP and Condara/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN as well as the 1.1 60-metre show jumpers and Pan American Games winners Pia Contra/Nicolas Pizarro/MEX, Conchado/Ignacio Maurin/ESP and Abril Iconthon/Leandro Moschini/ARG as well as Concare PS/Mark Bluman/COL, Chadina/Mckayla Langmeier/USA, Costa Quick PS/Mario Deslauriers/CAN, Condara/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN, Caept’n Hook/Armando Trapote/ESP, the individual gold medallist at the Junior European Championships in Gorla Minore/ITA, Tailormade Contou/Anastasia Nielsen/MON and the team gold medallist Conthanja/Coen Williams/IRL. Soon 60 of his sons were licensed, led by Continental Blue/Philip Rüping, who is also stationed with us and successful in jumping up to 1.60 metres, and the two-time champion stallion Conthalou.

The granddam Lovely Blue produced the international top horses Filuchi (by Filou de Muze; 1.55 m jump) /Béla Petrik/HUN, Elvis Blue Hallelujah (by Elvis ter Putte; 1.40 m jump) /Elizabeth Schumann/USA and Call Blue (by Caligula; 1.45 m jump) /Karoline Lien/NOR. The daughter Con Lady Blue (by Conthargos) became the dam of the show jumpers Centhargos PS (by Centino du Ry; 1.40 m jump) and Casa Lady Love PS OLD (by Casallco; 1.60 m jump) /Rene Lopez Lizarazo/COL. The latter was Oldenburg State Champion of six-year-old show jumpers in 2021 and produced a licensed stallion by Contagio.

The third dam Lovely Lady B Z produced eight internationally placed show jumpers, including the four 1.60 metre jumpers Chacco Boy (by Chacco-Blue)/Szabolcs Kruscó/HUN, Balou’s Lady (by Balou du Rouet)/Douglas Lindelöw/SWE, Lawisangos (by L’Aveau Z)/Gyula Szuhai/HUN and Chalasanga PS (by Chac Boy)/Christian Marini/ITA.

The fourth dam Grande Dame B Z (by Grandeur) produced the licensed stallion For Enjoy B Z and the 1.60 metre show jumper Fair Play B Z (both by For Pleasure). She is a half-sister to the licensed Cha Cha B Z (by Chin Chin).

The stallions Chacoon Fly PS (by Chacoon Blue), Un Hero d’Urano Gouden Bit Z (by Urano de Cartigny), Gorki van ‘t Kathof (by Ugano Sitte), Kartouzo van ‘t Kathof (by Ustinov) and Hardi (by Lugano van La Roche) also come from the dam line.
