Serial victories in show jumping tests for young horses with grades up to 9.0

Mother is half-sister to Balou du Rouet and Balou du Reventon

He came—jumped—and conquered. And that was an incredible twelve times last season. The top ratings of the Casco Blue PS under his rider Philip Rüping (up to 9.0) also underline that a great is in the starting blocks here. Already at his licensing and then also at his stallion performance test 2024 in Adelheidsdorf, he trumped with boundless ability (9.0).

This stallion’s ingenious genetics have set no limits. The mother is half-sister of the superstars Balou du Rouet and Balou du Reventon.

The first crop of foals also left no doubt about his hereditary power. The future belongs to Casco Blue PS and its descendants.

His sire Casallco attracted attention early on: as OS Reserve Champion, Ib main premium winner, ideal jumper (three times the dream score of 10) and German Championships qualifier. In the meantime, he won silver at the German Championships under Philip Rüping, won the Grand Prix of Opglabbeek/BEL, was second in the Grand Prix of Herning/DEN and in Paderborn, fourth in the Sires of the World final in Lanaken/BEL, fifth in the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck, sixth in the Grand Prix of Stockholm/SWE, seventh in the Grand Prix of Lastrup and went double clear in the Nations Cup of Drammen/NOR. The offspring of Casallco, who have already been successful up to 1.60 metre show jumping, helped their sire – as one of the youngest sires – to jump into the top 30 in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires. Acajou/Ilan Bluman/COL won in Ocala/USA, Cavoiro – H OLD/Roy van Beek/BEL was unbeatable in Deauville/FRA, Casa Diva PS/Álvaro González de Zarate Fernandez/ESP led the competition in Vejer de la Frontera/ESP, Iron Dames Casa Blue PS/Katrin Eckermann was successful in Prague/CZE, COM’on Coffee PS/Zascha Nygaard/DEN in Rome/ITA and Casallco’s George PS/Maximilian Lill in Wiesbaden. Casallco’s offspring also include the 2023 World Champion for young show jumpers and Iron Dames Cascajall NRW/Katrin Eckermann, who has already been placed in 1.50 metre show jumping, and the vice world champion for young show jumpers and 770,000 Euro P.S.I. auction offer Casanina PS/Juan Pablo Jimenez Torres/MEX, who already has placings in 1.45 metre show jumping. Other P.S.I. auction highlights are the Chyazint (1.50 m-spr.)/Jens Baakmann and Casabea Blue PS (1.50 m jump), which was knocked down for 1.6 million euros./Emanuele Camilli/ITA. More than ten sons of Casallco were licensed, including the aforementioned OS licensing winner, stallion performance test jumping winner and internationally successful up to 1.60 m show jumping Cavoiro – H OLD/Roy van Beek/BEL. At the German Foal Championships, a son finished fifth on the final ring. And the Casallco daughter Casa mia was a 20,500 Euro jumping price at the elite foal in Hagen a.T.W.

His dam Georgia Chacca produced four international show jumpers, including Carblue (by Cartogran), who took part in the Asian Games in Hangzhou/CHN with Melinda Ma/HKG, and Casa Blougia PS (by Casallco). The daughter Stageorgia (by Stakkatol) produced the licensed Revanzs M (by Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof).

The sire Chacco-Blue, himself third in the Grand Prix of Aachen and winner of the Grand Prix of Neumünster, was number one in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires for six years in a row from 2017, ranked second in 2023 and 24 and is now in third place. The elite stallion has Olympic Champion, European Championship individual silver and team bronze medallist and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic sixth Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, European Team Champion Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL, second in the Nations Cup Final Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL and EIC Up Too Jacco Blue, seventh in the World Cup final/Max Kühner/AUT. At almost all championships, Chacco-Blue produced the most offspring. Among his well over 100 licensed sons is the current jumping winner of the Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf.

The granddam Georgia produced four licensed stallions: our top sire Balou du Rouet (by Baloubet du Rouet), Balissimo (by Baloubet du Rouet), the German Champion Cornet’s Balou (by Cornet Obolensky), who was part of the victorious USA Nations Cup team under his sport name Balou du Reventon with Brian Moggre in Aachen in 2021 and finished second in the Grand Prix and won the Grand Prix of Sopot/POL and Wellington/USA, and Chatinue (by Chacco-Blue)/Darragh Kenny/IRL. Georgia’s other daughters and granddaughters produced numerous international show jumpers and licensed stallions, led by the Nations Cup winner, third place in the Global Champions Tour stages of Riyadh/KSA and Vienna/AUT as well as in the Aachen NRW Prize, Chageorge (by Chacco-Blue) under Olympic champion Christian Kukuk.

The great-granddam Georgette III produced the licensed Sandrissimo (by Sandro), who was successful in advanced (S) level show jumping.

Westphalian line of film studies (by Film-Hallo III): with decades of tradition at the Lewitz Stud, including the licensed stallions Denver’s Semilly (by Diamant de Semilly), Chageorge (by Chacco-Blue), Chageorgio Blue PS (by Chacoon Blue), Conthargos (by Conthargos), Daddy Cool (by Don Davidoff), Lacento (by Landry), Le Sandro (by Landjunge), Vivagran (by Vivant) and Lord Sandro (by Lordanos).
