Foal price peaks and championship successes

Mecklenburg licensing winner

The European Championship team fifth dam Zantana RS2 N.O.P. produced three licensed sons

Fürst Zonik gives PS a lot of engine, mechanics and uphill tendency to his consistently shapely offspring, the first of which are now proving themselves under saddle according to their age. Flaconi won silver at the Baden-Württemberg Riding Horse Championships. The daughter Princess Vitalia was a top price of 26,000 Euros at the 1st DSP One-Day Foal Auction. Still Dreaming STH and SP Fürstin zu Reutal took the lead at the KWPN Mare Show and the Franz Strahl-Schäfer Show respectively.

The licensing winner Fürst Zonik PS completed his stallion performance test in Schlieckau with expected highlights in terms of rideability, willingness to perform and quality of movement. At the first attempt, he won dressage horse tests under Isabel Freese and thus won his ticket for the German Championships. He then made a victorious debut in the advanced class.

His sire, elite stallion Fürstenball, was Oldenburg licensing winner, stallion performance test winner, Oldenburg main premium winner, German champion and Oldenburg state champion, dressage horse World Championships finalist, winner in advanced (S) dressage up to St. Georges, VTV dressage stallion, number one in the FN breeding value estimation, Danish elite stallion and Stallion of the Year in Denmark. He is currently among the top 20 in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best dressage sires. Of his numerous offspring who have been successful in Grand Prix, the team world champion, Olympic team fourth and individual seventh as well as European Championship team bronze medallist Heiline’s Danciera stands out. His offspring who have been successful at the championships include the five German champions Fürsten-Look, Festina PS, Fior, Feingefühl and Feine Bella. Fürsten-Look, licensing winner and one of over 100 licensed sons of the Fürstenball, finished third in the Burg Cup final under Isabel Freese/NOR. His approximately 300 award-winning daughters are led by the two Oldenburg champion mares Fiesta Danza OLD and Fünf Sterne as well as the Hanoverian champion mare Fine Lady.

The dam Zantana RS2 OLD N.O.P. was the top offer of our P.S.I. auction, won international Grand Prix competitions under her rider Marieke van der Putten, finished fifth with the Dutch team at the European Championships in Crozet/FRA and ranks 13th in the current FEI World Rankings. In breeding, Zantana RS2 OLD N.O.P. produced two more licensed sons: the two-time finalist at the German Championships for young dressage horses Debutant PS (by Deparon)/Dries van Dyck/BEL and a licensed stallion by Don Schufro. Her daughter Secret Zone PS (by Secret) became the dam of the premium stallion and stallion performance test winner Grey Tonic PS (by Grey Flanell), who was sold at our Schockemöhle Online Stallion Auction, and of our award-winning young star Epic Zone PS (by Escanto PS).

The dam’s sire Glock’s Zonik N.O.P., who combined Zack, Romanov and Don Schufro, the most influential stallions in Danish breeding, won team silver at the European Championships in Rotterdam/NED under Edward Gal/NED and finished eighth and sixth in the Special and Freestyle. His offspring include reigning double European champions and Aachen winners Zonik Plus/Justin Verboomen/BEL as well as Zhaplin Langholt/Charlotte Jorst/USA, Zonik Hit/João Pedro Moreira/POR, who are also successful in Grand Prix, and Zaeta de Malleret/Helen Langehanenberg, Zonella/Lauren Baggett/USA and Zum Glück RS2 OLD/Robin van Lierop/NED, who were placed in the Small Tour.

The granddam Sondra became a five-time stallion dam: Glock’s Total U.S. (by Totilas)/Edward Gal/NED, Zaid (by Zonik)/Alina Röhricht and Dante U.S. (by Dante Weltino)/Diederik van Silfhout/NED can boast successes in the international Grand Prix class. Also licensed are: Mister U.S. (by Grey Flanell), who was successful in the Small Tour, and the Pavo Cup finalist Lamborghini U.S. (by Lord Europe). Sondra’s breeding account also includes the Grand Prix dressage horse Gossip Girl (by Grey Flanell)/Evelyn Eger, Great Gatsby PS (by Grey Flanell)/Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, who was successful in Inter II, and De Sondro PS (by De Niro)/Annina Borgström/SWE, who was placed at the Lövsta Future Challenge in Sweden. The Sondra daughter Dandra PS (by Dante Weltino OLD) produced our young star Total PS (by Totilas). Other daughters produce the licensed Jaguar U.S. (by Jovian) and a premium stallion by Vitalis.

The fourth dam Contana produced the licensed and Grand Prix successful Swagman (by Sandro Hit) under Kristy Oatley/AUS. Her daughter Viva Contana PS (by Vivaldi) is the dam of our two-time Pavo Cup and stallion performance test winner Extreme U.S. (by Escamillo). Her daughter Contanita (by Sandro Hit) produced the licensed and Grand Prix successful Tostolany (by Totilas)/Maria Viktorovna Ugryumova Mikhailova/MEX.

The third sire Sir Donnerhall I acquired the status of a trademark stallion at an early age. Second Reserve Champion of his licensing, Regional Champion, stallion performance test record winner, Vice World Champion for young dressage horses and German Champion as well as main premium winner, he can point to over 100 licensed sons.

The stallions Aledo, Brilloso du Feu and Carinue also come from the dam line.
