Don Romance PS OLD placed at the Oldenburg State Championships in 2020 after winning bronze the year before and completing his stallion performance test with top scores as the second best. His canter and walk, rideability, overall impression and character traits were rated 9.0 each at his 50-day test in Schlieckau.

This extremely charismatic up-and-coming star owes its existence genetically to the dream combination of Dante Weltino blood with the hereditary strain of our Gesina.

The sire Dante Weltino OLD finished eleventh in the individual championship rankings at the 2022 World Championships in Herning/DEN, 14th place at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo/JPN and eighth twice at the 2021 European Championships in Hagen a.T.W. At the 2017 European Championships in Gothenburg/SWE and 2019 in Rotterdam/NED, the first Oldenburg reserve champion under Therese Nilshagen was also part of the Swedish bronze team. From 2018 comes a fourth place with the Swedish team and a tenth place in the individual at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA. Dante Weltino started his career at the age of five and six with serial victories and qualification for the German Championships for young dressage horses. In 2014, he recorded 13 victories in his first S season and placed in the final of the Nuremberg Burg Cup. In 2015, at the age of eight, he made a victorious debut in the Grand Prix class, finished fifth in the Frankfurt final of the Louisdor Prize and was named VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year in Oldenburg. In 2016, he was in Sweden’s selection for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro/BRA. Among his more than 20 licensed stallions are the stallion performance test dressage winner, German and state champion Dante Quando OLD and the DSP champion stallion and fourth at the South German Championships Dante’s Stern. Dante Weltino’s sporty offspring have now reached the Grand Prix arena themselves, such as the fifth of the Louisdor Prize, Hanami OLD. In the Burg Cup final, Dante’s Hit/Dorothee Schneider was placed.

The mother El.St. Gesina is a ten-time stallion mother. From her come the Oldenburg Champion Stallion, Main Premium Winner, Burg Cup finalist, VTV dressage stallion and Grand Prix successful For Romance I OLD, the premium stallion and seven-year-old internationally placed For Romance II, the licensed Fürst Donnerhall PS and the Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion, P.S.I. price record holder and until Inter II successful Fasine OLD (all by Fürst Romancier), who in turn produced the licensed Fasino (by Foundation) and the mare A la Fasine (by Fürst Romancier). Apache), dam of the licensed stallion HP Valentino (by Vitalis). In addition, Gesina produced the two other Champion Stallions Feinrich (by Fürst Heinrich) and Viva Romance PS (by Vinino) as well as the licensed stallions Despacito (by De Niro), Forever Romance and Face Time PS (both by Foundation) as well as Golden Romance de Malleret PS (by Governor)/Helen Langehanenberg. Her daughter, the Oldenburg champion mare Fürstin Gesine (by Fürst Heinrich), became the dam of the licensed stallions Visino PS (by Vitalis) and Montrachtet PS (by Morricone I). The Gesina daughter Furtherance (by Fürst Romancier) produced the two licensed stallions Go For Romance PS (by Governor) and Viva Vitalis (by Vitalis), Champion Stallion. Out of Vesina PS (by Vivaldi) comes the licensed Sebastino PS (by Secret). In pairing with Bordeaux, Gesina also produced the British Dressage Champion and up to the Light Tour placed Mount St. John Best of all, who in turn became the dam of the Vice National Champion and fifth at the German Championships Best of Mount St. John OLD (by Fürst Romancier) and a licensed Quantensprung son.

Through the dam’s sires Sir Donnerhall I and Don Schufro, there are interesting line breeds for the sire of the century Donnerhall and the no less influential half-breed Sandro in the later generations of the pedigree of Don Romance PS.

The granddam Gesine also produced the 1st Reserve Champion Vivaldi’s Schufro (by Vivaldi).

The important Voltaire also comes from the line.
