Grand Prix Winners

The foals of Varihoka du Temple exceeded even the highest expectations: equipped with a highly noble silhouette, large levers and a lot of strength in the back. Demand was correspondingly strong on the auction grounds. At the Westphalian licensing, a powerful son went on the premium ring of the best of the year. Other sons were licensed at the DSP Stallion Days and most recently in Hanover.

After victories in the Grand Prix of Opglabbeek/BEL and Neustadt/D., second place in the Grand Prix of Hagen a.T.W., third place in the Nations Cup of Rome/ITA and in the Grand Prix of Neumünster (also the final of the Riders Tour), fourth place in the Nations Cup of Prague/SZE and eighth place in the Grand Prix of Berlin, Varihoka du Temple and his rider Patrick Stühlmeyer were called up to the German championship squad. Previously, he had catapulted himself into the first league with victories and placings in the top jumping competitions of Stuttgart, Oldenburg, Neumünster, Dortmund, Leipzig, Hamburg, Paderborn, Herning/DEN, Arnhem/NED, Kronenberg/NED and Zandhoven/BEL.

Varihoka du Temple was approved for breeding in France. In 2015, he made his victorious debut in the international youngster tour. From 2016 onwards, he won international youngster competitions. This was followed by numerous placings, fifth place in the Munich Championships, third place in the qualification for the Grand Prix of Herning/DEN, sixth place in the final of the Medium Tour in Münster and second place in Verden.

The sire is the Quidam de Revel son Luigi d’Amaury, who won more than 100,000 euros in international sport. In addition to Varihoka du Temple, his son Ultrachic du Temple, who is successful in sport, was also licensed.

His dam Narihoka d’Halong also produced the international show jumpers Rikann Sauvage (by Lando), Toulon Sauvage (by Toulon) and Sucre Blue Sauvage (by Mr. Blue).

The dam’s sire Kannan set himself a monument with the individual Olympic champion and two-time World Cup final runner-up Nino des Buissonnets/Steve Guerdat/SUI. From 2010 to 2017 he was among the top ten and is currently in third place in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires. Kannan himself belonged to the French team that won the Samsung Super League under Michel Hécart in 2003 and 2004. He also won gold at the 2005 French Championships.

The third sire Laeken also produced champion Du Lys, who became European Team Champion and German Vice Champion under Ludger Beerbaum, won the Riders Tour overall ranking and earned over one million euros in the course.

In fourth place in the pedigree follows the Anglo-Arabian In Chala AA.
