Tenth at the Olympics as well as eighth and tenth at the European Championships
Louisdor Prize and Burg Cup winners
The dam is the Olympic champion Weihegold OLD
For the first time, Total Hope cracked the 80 percent mark in the freestyle at the 2023 European Championships in Riesenbeck – and thus finished tenth in the individual final. He also finished tenth in the Olympic Freestyle – with a new personal best of 83.050 percent. In the 2025 World Cup final in Basel/SUI, the increase to 83.490 percent and the jump to the bronze podium followed. And at the European Championships in Crozet/FRA, an eighth place was added to the championship balance with the tenth result of over 80 percent. But even before that, Total Hope made people sit up and take notice. In 2022, for example, he was successful at the World Championships in Herning/DEN, Denmark – in his first Grand Prix season, mind you. Previously, he had won the Nuremberg Burg Cup in 2019 and the Louisdor Prize in 2021, which no other stallion had ever achieved before in the long history of the two most important young horse competitions. And both times he won in an absolutely impressive manner – and clearly ahead of the strong competition. He started his career as Swedish licensing winner, dressage horse champion, finalist at the World Championships for young dressage horses (6y.o.) and bronze medallist at the World Championships (7y.o.).
Without a doubt: Total Hope has inherited the talent for the highest degrees of collection from his parents, the world horses Totilas and Weihegold OLD – and passes this on to his descendants. Among his licensed sons, the premium stallion and Swedish dressage horse champion Oneofakind OM/Ingrid Klimke, the Oldenburg Vice National Champion Tesino RS and our foal maker True Hope PS stand out. Prince of Hope placed in the international Small Tour. With Royal Hope G OLD, Total Hope produced the Oldenburg Champion Mare, Vice German Champion and two-time Oldenburg State Champion under Tanja Fischer. Tabea von Feldmatt CH won the Swiss Championships with Andrina Suter/SUI. Vidar was unbeatable in the competition of the four-year-olds and later the seven-year-olds at the SWB Equestrian Weeks Dressyr. BreFood’s Total Belize/Katharina Hemmer won a series of dressage tests for young horses and Total Impact CBM secured bronze at the Australian Championships for five-year-olds. Total Happy H was the second 105,000 Euro price peak of the Hanoverian Elite Auction, Total Spezial vom Möhrkenhof 50,500 Euro price peak of the 80th Westphalian Foals Online Auction. The filly Tainted Love cost 30,000 Euros at the Westphalian OnLive Auction.
The sire, elite stallion Totilas, 2009 European Championship double and 2010 World Championship triple gold winner, fascinated people far beyond the dressage arena. The multiple world record holder and World Cup winner delivered 48 licensed sons to the breeder. His Grand Prix offspring, who competed in record-breaking numbers at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships, catapulted Totilas directly into the top ten of the world’s best dressage sires. He is currently in second place in the WBFSH ranking.
The dam St.Pr./El.St. Weihegold OLD was Oldenburg Champion Mare, Burg Cup and Louisdor Prize winner and, under Isabell Werth, Olympic and three-time World Cup winner as well as four-time European Champion. She also produced the licensed Jewels Sir Weibach (by Sir Donnerhall I), who was successful with Tristan Tucker/AUS up to Grand Prix, and the Louisdor Prize fourth Special Gold PCH (by Louisdor Prize). San Amour I)/Katharina Hemmer. His half-brother Vitally PCH (by Vitalis) finished fourth in the 2023 German Championships final for five-year-old dressage horses under Anna Schölermann and can now boast successes in St. Georges dressage. Also successful in the Small Tour are the Weihegold daughters St.Pr.St. Weihcera Royal NG (by Zack), Weihronce (by For Romance I) and St.Pr.St. Aweih H (by Apache). All three also became stallion dams. Weihcera Royal NG (by Zack) produced For Gold (by Franziskus)/Clara Paschertz, who won the Youth Tour at the CHIO Aachen and was fifth in the DJM. Isabell Werth’s Louisdor Prize winner Viva Gold OLD (by Vivaldi) and Leclerc (by Lord Europe), who was also licensed, are out of Weihronce. And Aweih H produced the Westphalian licensing winner Extra Gold (by Escolar) and the also licensed sir Noble (by Sir Donnerhall I). Other daughters of Weihegold who became stallion dams include St.Pr./El.St. Fürstin Weihe (by Fürst Romancier), who produced the licensed and St. Georges-successful Damon Gold OLD (by Damon Hill), and the St.Pr./El.St. Weihcine (v. Fürst Heinrich). She produced the Oldenburg Reserve Champion Dodo Weihgand (by Diamond Hit), who was placed up to M** dressage, the Oldenburg State Championships bronze medallist and S-successful Weihvergin OLD (by Vitalis) and the mare Weihdira (by De Niro), whose son Seattle, descended from So Perfect, was licensed in Hanover in 2023 and whose daughter Weihforca OLD, descended from Fynch Hatton, became Oldenburg State Champion, and her full sister Weihnira, who produced the licensed Iowa Gold (by Asgard’s Ibiza) and became granddam of the Vice National Champion Vitastic OLD (by Viva Gold). Other stallion dams are the Weihegold daughters Weihe’s Hope (by Sir Donnerhall I), who produced the premium stallion Everglow Gold (by Escolar), the licensed stallion L’Avenir (by Le Formidable), the Oldenburg State Champion and fourth at the German Championships Weihkjenta OLD (by Kjento) and the German and Oldenburg State Champion Weihe’s Happiness (by Dynamic Dream), and Weihe Glück (by Totilas). She produced the licensed Vivito de Halliers (by Vivino).
Weihegold OLD is a daughter of Don Schufro. For years, he was the leader in the German breeding value estimation of dressage, internationally victorious up to Grand Prix and in 2008 bronze winner in Hong Kong/HKG with the Danish team.
The granddam St.Pr./El.St. Weihestolz (by Fidertanz), Weiheglanz (by United) and Tripple X (by Totilas), who were victorious up to St. Georges, are still consecrated. Her son Total Recall (by Totilas) was the absolute top foal price in Vechta with 200,000 Euros and has already collected Grand Prix successes.
Via the sire legends Figaro and Vollkorn xx, the maternal roots lead to the Oldenburg mare family Weissena (by Folkert-Goldengel etc.), from which the licensed stallions Lux Dressage Statesman OLD (by Stedinger), Inselfürst (by Inschallah AA), Canaster I and II (by Caprimond) as well as Triumphator and Top of Class (both by Titus) come.
