In style and jumping style, a worthy heir to his grandfather For Pleasure
Magnificent debut in the international youngster tour: For Laubry recorded superior victories and top placings in his first appearances at the top events in Oldenburg, Opglabeek/BEL, Leipzig, Balve, Verden, Munich, Neumünster and Paderborn. In the saddle of the chestnut stallion, who is strongly reminiscent of his grandfather For Pleasure in terms of style and jumping manner, sat Patrick Stühlmeyer. For Laubry’s remarkable talent for the highest demands was already evident in his first tournament season in 2016 and at his stallion performance test the year before in Adelheidsdorf. He received the maximum score of 10.0 for his willingness to perform and his rideability. The judges pulled out a 9.5 for his jumping ability and a 9.75 and 9.5 respectively for his interior and character. This gave For Laubry a weighted final score of 8.99.
The pedigree greets the absolute elite of international show jumping horse breeding. The Belgian-bred and licensed sire For Passion d’Ive Z, who comes from the well-known Holstein performance line 4847 via For Pleasure, Quidam de Revel and Landgraf, placed in the Global Champions Tour in Shanghai/CHN and Hong Kong/HKG as well as in the World Cup tournament in Mechelen/BEL. His offspring often go on difficult courses.
The dam Altesse van de Donkhoeve produced offspring successful at advanced (S) level from different matings.
The dam’s sire Quorum de Laubry, bred with French and Hanoverian elements from an East Prussian mare family in Belgium, was also successful in the advanced class.
His great-grandfather Jus de Pomme won double Olympic gold in Atlanta/USA under Ulrich Kirchhoff, after he had also won the German championship in the same year.
For Laubry: Winner of the International Youngster Tour
