1993 highlighted as premium stallion, Hohenstein started his brilliant career as top stallion.

1994 he finished his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf as vice champion with a total score of 134,05 points. He became rideability champion with 148,29 points.

1995 Hohenstein was champion of the Trakehner breed and was ranked third in the German Young Horses Championships.

1997 Hohenstein’s first year of foals included champion stallion Münchhausen, sold for 350,000 DM.

1998 Hohenstein started winning dressage competitions at S level.

1999 Hohenstein was proclaimed elite stallion.

2002 Hohenstein was stallion of the year and his son His Highness became champion of the licensing in Verden.

2005 Hohenstein’s son Insterburg was placed third at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden.

2006 three premium stallions of the Trakehner licensing carried the blood of Hohenstein.

2007 Hohenstein provided two premium stallions at the licensing in Neumünster. His son  Hohenstaufen became European and German Champion of the Young Riders with Kristin Schütte.

2009 Hohenstein’s son Insterburg TSF won with his rider Carola Koppelmann the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the indoor tournament in Hanover.2008 he was dam sire of winning Trakehner stallion Iskander. Thea-Felicitas Müller won with Hohenstein’s son Highway the Team Gold Medal at the European Championships of Young Riders in Portugal.

2010 Hohenstein as dam sire of champion stallion Imhotep (sold for 300,000 Euros) impressively confirmed his dominance in breeding.

2012 the Trakehner Champion Mare is by Le Rouge out of a Hohenstein mare.

He has 13 licenses sons, 86 state premium mares and 92 auction horses.
