Sire of Don Index, Don Crusador and his dam Larissa derive from Holstein bloodline 5421. Grand sire Don Bosco was leased to the State Stud Celle after his two sons Don Crusador and Don Ami appeared at their performance tests. Larissa was best mare of the Warmsen mare Show 1993 and 1994 and a dam of successful sport horses.
Don Crusador won his approval in Verden in 2000 and then completed his stallion performance test class 1 receiving top scores, especially for rideability. Wolkentanz 1 is the damsire who also stands at Celle and information on him is under his section. He is a great improver in dressage movement, conformation and type and has a very high dressage breeding index.
Don Index excelled in his performance test in 2010 claiming first place overall and first place in dressage. He has lofty, animated movement, a willingness to move forward and excellent rideability. On top of this he showed excellent performance on the cross country course and was awarded a premium stallion status.
With his pedigree and obvious dressage qualities he is set to confirm the big expectations of him as a sire of top dressage horses.
