“I’m sexy and I know it” describes this Vitalis – Floriscount – Santino son (breeder: Christa and Ludger Welling, Wietmarschen) probably in one sentence. The beautiful chestnut stallion will be called “Von und Zu” in the future.
The premium stallion “Von und Zu” quickly emerged as the public’s favourite during Körtage 2019. The stallion was one of the few potential sires who was not for sale. Thomas Berger, Hambühren, was listed as an exhibitor. On the occasion of the award ceremony, it was announced via microphone that a 50 percent share could be secured in advance by the Celle State Stud – the audience went wild.
The modern dark fox with the right mixture of knee action and sufficient space gain results from the highly successful mare strain of the Paninka, from which the stallions Fiderstar, Federico Fellini, Foundation to Grand Prix Special (Matthias-Alexander Rath), Prince Charming and Le Classic emerged as well as the sport horses Apache/Isabell Werth, Don’t forget/Patrik Kittel/SWE or Henri Ruoste/FIN, D’Arcy Diamond OLD/Louisa Lüttgen, Albertino/Lars Nieberg, Cheyenne/Rene Tebbel and The Sixth Sense/Thomas Frühmann/AUT.
As part of his 50-day stallion performance test, Von und Zu impressed the evaluation committee as well as the station and foreign riders. With a 10.0 the rideability was rated by the foreign riders.
For his willingness to perform, overall impression and outstanding trot, the dynamic fox received a 9.5. The judges rated the gallop, which was always constructed uphill, and his character/temperament with a 9.0. In addition, the young stallion showed sovereignty on the jump, this was rated 8.0.
Overall, the stallion received marks of 8.10 and better in 9 of the 0 characteristic blocks.
Thus, the young fox completed the best 50-day performance test in Germany in 2021.
Von und Zu also confirms this top performance in his first tournament season and wins both qualification tests for the Bundeschampionat.
