The charismatic palomino stallion Zucchero has impressed breeders and judges with his excellent gaits and rideability, he is one of the highest scorings five-year-old dressage horses in Sweden and represented Sweden at the World Young Horse Championships 2024 with excellent marks and a total of 78,2%. His talent combined with his beautiful golden colour has given him lots of attention in Europe. He has three high-quality gaits with great elasticity and balance and is also a great jumper. He has also inherited his sire Zafferano’s nice and friendly temperament.
His first offspring were born 2024 and they have a great type with a beautiful head and neck, three great gaits with lots of elasticity and hind leg activity.
Zucchero received 7.89 at his 50 days test in Adelheidsdorf and he is approved in SWB, Oldenburg and Hannoveraner Verband.
Zucchero has an outstanding pedigree for top sport. The pedigree contains the best sires in Europe and it’s hard to find a better dam line. Behind Zucchero there’s six generations Elite mares, the best award a broodmare can get, and the dam, grand dam and great grand dam have produced approved stallions. The full sister of Zucchero is the second highest scoring three-year-old in Swedish warmblood 2024, scoring 85% for dressage and 84% for jumping at her three-year-old test.
Sire Zafferano is a Grand Prix stallion and has been one of the most used stallions for 8 years in Sweden due to his popular offspring and temperament.
Grand Sire Ampere was the highest scoring stallion in KWPN and he was the stallion with most offspring at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Great grand sire De Niro also competed Grand Prix and has been one of the best dressage sires for many years.
Great Great Grand sire Amiral competed the Olympics twice.
