Sire Wanderer is a most popular and reliable producer of show jumpers of the Hanoverian breed, including Wait and See and Walesca. In 1992 the Hanoverian approval was won by Fontainebleau by Wanderer. His dam Sheila also produced Wanderbursch 1 who for a couple of seasons was used for breeding at the Splietau stallion station in the Wendland breeding area as well as the Champion of the 1993 Verden Broodmare Show. His granddam Dompoesie gave birth to the state premium mare Adelsbuch, and the approved sires Amazonas and Abgott, also the dam of Weltmeyer who is considered the ‘Hanoverian stallion of the century’. Wanderbursch 11 was considered one of the most promising stallions at Celle due to his excellent type, great talent, and superb jumping ability. He represents the best in Hanoverian bloodlines. Right from the beginning at the 1988 Verden approval, Wanderbursch 11 showed marvellous gifts for jumping that helped him to get the award Reserve Champion. At the stallion performance test he was graded performance class 1 with a total of 124 points. In the jumping part there was nobody there to be able to beat him. Wanderbursch 11 has an impressive outline and three basic gait of equally high quality. He has swinging, ground covering movements and is siring versatile, elegant horses.
From his first batch of foals the typey chestnut caused a stir. One highlight was followed by another: In 1993 a daughter of Wanderbursch 11 was awarded ‘best 2 year old mare’ at the regional Aurish-Tannenhausen Show. In the autumn of 1993 two sons enthused the audience at the approval in Verden. As the top priced stallion of the show the sire Furstenberg was sold to Schleswig-Holstein. Fosbury, the second Wanderbursch 11 progeny demonstrated fascinating jumping capacities and received a premium. His progeny have good jumping talents in combination with powerful and elastic movements. A daughter, Wyella, was Champion mare at the Louis-Wiegels Show in 1995. He has 6 licensed sons, 30 state premium mares, 218 main stud book mares, and 42 auction horses. Winning sum on progeny is Euro 146,173.00.
