With his great rideability and athletic body, Zafferano competed Grand Prix as a 10-year-old, Intermediaire II as 9 and won Intermediaire I as 8 parallel to his breeding career. He competed NürnbergerBurg Pokal in Germany, won the bronze medal at the Swedish championships for 7-year-old horses and was nominated to the Dressage World Breeding Championship.
