Championship-winning show jumping champion from the Netherlands

Talan won team silver at the 2014 Asian Games under Prince Faisal Al Shalan/KSA and participated in the World Equestrian Games in Caen/FRA. Previously, he was part of the British European Championship team under Robert Smith at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington/USA and was nominated for the 2011 European Championships in Madrid/ESP. He has placings in the Grand Prix of Madrid/ESP, Rome/ITA, Doha/QAT and St. Gallen/SUI as well as victories in the Nations Cups of Abu Dhabi/UAE and Dublin/IRL.

His so far few offspring, such as Talanted and How Easy, placed at the World Championships for young show jumpers and in international competitions. Miss Moneypenny/Alexander O’Neal/USA finished fifth in the CCI 3* in Fairburn/USA with Alexander O’Neal/USA

His sire Concorde was highly successful with Jos Lansink/BEL in the Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia in Aachen as well as in the Grand Prix in Amsterdam/NED, Helsinki/FIN and Gothenburg/SWE. He produced many successful offspring. These include, for example, FAN Holland/Eddie Macken/IRL and the three-time winner of the Hamburg Derby, Nacorde/Andre Thieme.

His dam Nalinda produced several sport horses at S-level. She produced the two successful CSI2* competitions Veni Vidi Vici (by Ohorn) and Diego (by Vaillant) as well as the participant in the World Championships for young show jumpers Happy Linda (by Eldorado vd Zeshoek).

The Holstein dam’s sire Burggraaf, internationally successful with Roelof Bril/NED, produced numerous championship horses. For example, John Whitakers/GBR two-time European Championship team bronze medallist Peppermill.

In the third and fourth generation are the half-bred Dutchboy and the Neverdor-son Wisconsin.

Talan represents a Dutch dam line that has already produced numerous top athletes.
