Sire, the Westfalen stallion Pilot, began an incomparable career as a maker of show jumpers in his day and was the youngest German progeny winning millionaire. The current ‘flagship’ of Pilot’s show jumping armada is certainly the chestnut PS Priamos who under Dirk Hafemeister became 1994 team World Champion in The Hague and with Ludger Beerbaum again became team world champion in Rome in 1998. Pilot’s best-known stallion sons to date are Pit 1, Pluspunkt, Phantom, Pinocchio and Pablo. The name of Pilot is a brand name for the transmission of show jumping ability. The dam, state premium mare Whyoming is a full-sister of the renowned sire Willems As 11 as well as half-sister of Dupont. Watzmann is also renowned as a producer of excellent show jumping horses, eg Walzerkonig.

Perpignon has a big frame, correct and clear conformation with a lot of expressiveness. He came up to all expectations in his performance test in 1995. He has outstanding show jumping talent with unbeatable capacity, combined with above average rideability and an excellent character. In his first season of competition sport in 1998 Perpignon won three intermediate show jumping competitions and was placed ten times out of 13 starts in advanced show jumping, attaining a second and a third place respectively. He was already attested the outstanding jumping ability on the occasion of his stallion performance test in 1995, which he absolved in performance class 1 with the second highest jumping index. Perpignon’s first crops of foals were very promising and they possess elastic movements and are very typey. He has 5 licensed sons, 6 state premium mares, 13 auction horses
