After silver in the Burg Cup final, victorious debut in the Grand Prix class

“Such a sovereign round! A horse with fantastic potential for the reinforcements, but also in the same way for the gathering lessons. Also with very nice canter changes. A really great performance,” Christoph Hess summed up his impressions in his commentary on the final presentation of our Lord Europe in the Frankfurt Festhalle. With 75.365 percent, the only seven-year-old and thus youngest stallion of the Nuremberg Burg Cup Final 2023 ranked second under his rider Leonie Richter. In the winner’s prize, the couple danced to victory with 9.5. Both had won the final ticket with the highest score of all qualifiers: 77.951 percent. In 2024, Lord Europe effortlessly made the leap into the Grand Prix class: he won the warm-up test for the Oldenburg semi-finals of the Derby Stars of Tomorrow series with almost 74 percent.

Lord Europe started his career as a two-time premium stallion, 800,000 Euro stallion market price sensation. He produced several licensed sons from his first crops, including the second Westphalian Reserve Champion Lodovico, who was the second stallion market leader with a hammer price of 401,000 Euros, and the stallion performance test Reserve Champion Lord Charmeur. The Lord Europe daughter First Moana advanced to the winner of the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show. Lord Extra won bronze at the Oldenburg State Championships under Julian Fetzer and finished fifth at the German Championships.

His sire Lord Leatherdale, himself a son of the Vice World Champion and German Champion Lord Loxley and the Champion Mare Fairless, won advanced (S) level dressage with Daniel Bachmann Andersen/DEN. More than 20 licensed sons are registered worldwide, with the trio Glamourdale (Olympic team and individual bronze medallist, two-time individual World Champion and team vice world champion, team European champion and individual vice European champion, dressage horse world champion), Everdale (Olympic team bronze winner, team vice European champion), and Chippendale (Grand Prix Special), ridden by Charlotte Fry/GBR.

The dam Basjen P is a half-sister to Verb.Pr.St. Missy Elliott (by Millennium), who in turn produced the licensed stallions Van Europe WP (by Vivat Rex) and Bermille (by Bernay), the former of whom was in the final of the Westphalian Championships for three-year-olds in 2024.

The dam’s sire Boston, a son of the famous Jazz out of a Flemmingh dam, was Champion Stallion in 2008 and moved to Isabell Werth’s stable. Although he died early, he produced numerous, highly successful offspring, including the Burg Cup runner-up and Inter II victorious Bonita Springs/Kira Wulferding and the Grand Prix successful Bob Dylan/Uwe Schwanz. Ten sons were licensed, including the Westphalian Champion Stallion, stallion market price record holder and fifth at the German Championships Borsalino and Backround HBS/Marcus Hermes, who was victorious up to Inter I.

The granddam St.Pr.St. Lasjen P also produced the S* dressage horse Lady Leatherdale (by Lord Leatherdale). She herself is a half-sister to Isabell Werth’s Grand Prix horse Krack (by Krack C) and to Lolly Pop (by Lancer III), who was placed up to 1.45 metres in show jumping.

In the third generation is the Holstein Champion Stallion of 1988, Lancer II, who is considered one of the best sons of the great Landgraf. Among his 30 licensed sons were the licensing winner Lamont, the stallion performance test winner Lancaster H and the German champion Lazio. His offspring, who were successful in sport, won over 2.01 million euros.

The licensed stallions Eldorado de Hus, Las Casas, Nabalou W.Z., Oak Grove’s Clown, Stensbeck, Skipp, Game Boy D/Olivier Philippaerts/BEL and a son of Stakkato Gold as well as the show jumpers Lesodero, Palona and Bill Clinton also come from the line of Lord Europe.

Produced the first Reserve Champion in Westphalia and the Oldenburg Champion Mare
