Description

With Kannan, Caretino, and Darco this pedigree truly reads like the placement of a Grand Prix.  Khedira’s sire, Kannan, currently ranks among the top ten jumping sires in the WBFSH Show Jumping Sire rankings.  He was a highly successful jumper under French rider Michel Hecart and his offspring continue to represent at the top, international level.  Grandsire, Caretano Z also did very well on the international stage with rider Jos Lansink, while great-grandsire Darco has left a lasting legacy. Darco not only produced countless successful show jumpers, but also during his career he consistently performed well and even placed in the top at ten at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 with Ludo Philippaerts. The maternal lines in Khedira’s pedigree also have produced many triumphant show jumping offspring, like granddam Dolce Vita St. Ghyvan Z, who produced the well-known stallion Quidam de Revel.  Khedira is a newcomer to sport and breeding and his stellar pedigree make him a promsing addition to the OS Studbook.
