Honoré du Soir is an elegant Trakehner premium stallion that offers a super walk, a very rhythmic trot and an expressive canter, not to mention his impeccable conformation! He has a great work ethic and is always at ease with his environment. He also presents himself with superiority and supreme ease.

Honoré du Soir shows great potential and technique while free jumping and jumping under saddle. He completed the 30-days-test in Schlieckau with a final dressage score of 8.26 in 2015.

In 2016, the Trakehner won the youngster dressage class A.
In 2017, he finished the stallion sport test successfully and won a youngster dressage class L.

Honoré du Soir received the 1c-Main Premium of the Oldenburg association for his great first crop and his very good show performance.

Out of his first crop of foals, “Kattenau“ by Honoré du Soir out of Kiss me Kate by Perechlest x Stradivari became Young Stallion Champion at the Trakehner licensing in 2018. Also, his son out of Donna Clara by Donnerhall x Pik Bube I has been licensed.

In 2019, Honoré du Soir won a youngster dressage test on M-level and placed several times.

Origin

Honoré du Soir and Millennium share the same sire, the Gribaldi son, Easy Game. Easy Game himself is very successful in Inter I and was declared elite stallion of the Trakehner Verband at a very young age.

Gribaldi was the best dressage sire (WBFSH) in the world in 2014. In 2016, he was ranked second.

On the dam line, Honoré du Soir is half-brother to Soirée d’Amour (Kira Wulferding) who won the Bundeschampionat and was Oldenburg regional champion for three-year-old dressage horses in 2012. In 2014, she became runner-up at the “Bundeschampionat” for five-year-old dressage horses and finished 5th at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Meanwhile, she is placed in Inter I.

Soirée d’Amour’s full-sister, Soirée du Saumur, won Bronze at the Bundeschampionat for dressage horses in 2013 and is won dressage suitability classes to level M.

Combined in Honoré du Soir’s pedigree are the dressage stars Easy Game, Gribaldi, Schwadroneur, Latimer as well as the dressage sire and Kira-K’s father Banditentraum (stallion performance test winner). Several generations back is the mare Amsel, the full sister to the Angloarab Burnus, who competed very successfully with Dr. Reiner Klimke in eventing and started his own top stallion line with Habicht, winning eventing to the highest level under Merlin Alewa, Sixtus (successful in 1,40 m jumpings), Buddenbrock (6th place in eventing at the Bundeschampionat for five year olds under Andreas Dibowski), Connery and Imperio (successful in Grand Prix with Hubertus Schmidt)
