He currently owes this top position in the WBFSH ranking to World Cup sixth Florine OLD/Bianca Nowag-Aulenbrock, the European Championship team bronze medallist Favour Gersdorf/Nadja Aaboe Sloth/DEN and the runner-up in World Cup dressage, Foreman MJ/Peter Gmoser/AUT. His 40 licensed sons include the P.S.I. price record holder, Vice World Champion for young dressage horses and Grand Prix successful Ferrari OLD/Rudolf Widmann, the Reserve Champion and up to Grand Prix victorious Freischütz/William Matthew/AUS, the Up to Inter II placed For Emotion, the AWÖ licensing winner Broadmoars Franello, the Reserve Champion Fiancé and the Hanoverian Champion and up to Inter II successful Feuertanz/Lena Waldmann and Hanna Titanilla Szeivolt/HUN as well as the Oldenburg Champion and Danish Premium stallion Fortunate. 85 award-winning daughters are on the books, including Frida Fröhlich, the overall champion of the DSP Mare Championships. His daughter Feel Free OLD was the second Oldenburg Reserve Champion Mare, Vice German Champion, Dressage Horse World Championships and Burg Cup finalist and is already Grand Prix placed under Bernadette Brune. The Para European Championships individual bronze medallist Fantabulous/Jemima Green/GBR and the Junior Team European Champion ZINQ Founder FH/Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel can also boast championship successes. And Foundation’s filly Fantasy was the top price in Vechta with 107,000 euros.

Foundation was the Oldenburg Ia main premium winner in 2012 and placed in the prestigious finals of the Burg Cup and the Louisdor Prize. Under Matthias Alexander Rath, he won Grand Prix dressage, such as the freestyle in Deauville/FRA, took second place in the Nations Cup in Rotterdam/NED and finished fourth in the Special. The pair achieved further top placings in Aachen, Wiesbaden, Lier/FRA, Ornago/ITA, Le Mans/FRA, Nice/FRA, Crozet/FRA, Mannheim, Donaueschingen, Munich, Salzburg/AUT and Doha/QAT as well as in the Nations Cup in Falsterbo/SWE. In 2020, Foundation was awarded the coveted Grande Prize by the Hanoverian Association. In 2025, he received the Elite Stallion award in Oldenburg.

The sire is our Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2021, Fidertanz, who is one of the world’s best dressage sires according to the WBFSH ranking. He owes this outstanding position to his two Olympic participants Finland/Camille Carier Bergeron/CAN and Fidertraum OLD/Florian Bacher/AUT, among others. A total of 65 licensed sons are on the books, including Franziskus FRH/Ingrid Klimke, who was part of the German World Championship bronze team in Herning/DEN in 2022, and Fiderdance OLD/Moritz Treffinger, who was successful in World Cup dressage.

His dam Donna Doria produced three licensed stallions: the premium stallion Glock’s Falvio/Ruben Mengual Reig/ESP, who was successful in the international U25 Tour, the finalist at the German Championships Fiderstar (both by Fidertanz) and the Hanoverian Vice Champion and bronze medallist at the German Championships (7y.o.) Fun4ever (by Feedback)/Borja Carrascosa/ESP, as well as Anabel Balkenhol’s Grand Prix winner Crystal Friendship and his full sisters Donna Wenita, who produced the auction foal Serge Gainsbourg (by Secret), who was knocked down for the sensational price of 150,000 Euros, and Mrs. Pigge (all by Fidertanz), from whom Voundation FRH (by Vitalis)/Ann-Christin Wienkamp, who finished fourth at the World Championships for young dressage horses. From the mating of Fidertanz to the mare Donna Doria come Feuerdorn/Ines de Koninck/FRA, who was successful at the Junior European Championships, and Friedland de Tal, who is also successful in youth sports.

The granddam St.Pr./El.St. Weniga is descended by Victoria Michalke’s Queeny (by Quattro B) and Kathleen Keller’s Lord (by Laurentio). Her daughter Waikati (by Sevillano xx) became the dam of the premium stallion Force Majeure MN (by For Romance I) and D’Arcy Diamond OLD/Florina Gleis, who finished fifth at the German Amateur Championships.

Foundation results from the Hanoverian mare family of Paninka, which produced the second Reserve Champion Federico Fellini, Prince Charming and Le Classic, as well as the sport horses Apache/Isabell Werth, Don’t forget/Patrik Kittel/SWE and Henri Ruoste/FIN, Albertino/Lars Nieberg, Cheyenne/René Tebbel and The Sixth Sense/Thomas Frühmann/AUT.
