For Real

  • Double Champion at the Bundeschampionat
  • Double champion at the Westphalian Championships
  • HLP winner

The first foals of the multi-champion For Real exceed the high expectations: consistently beautiful types with ideal proportions, great lines, three spectacular basic paces and a lot of power from behind.

For Real won the Westphalian Championships in Münster-Handorf and was also unbeatable at the German Championships in Warendorf thanks to the same dream scores. Ridden by his trainer Leonie Richter, he was awarded the maximum score of 10 for his outstanding willingness to perform. He received 9.5 for his immaculate conformation, 9.0 for the energy and elasticity in trot and canter and 9.5 for his perfect rhythm in walk. With an overall score of 9.2, For Real was clearly ahead of the competition – which continued at his stallion performance test in Denmark.

His sire Farrell was premium stallion of the Hanoverian licensing in 2013, received a score of 9.04 at the Danish Championships of six-year-olds in 2016 and is internationally successful up to Inter I with Nanna Skodborg Merrald/DEN. He has produced 14 licensed stallions. His daughter Grevens Fakina became Mare of the Year in Denmark. His first offspring have made a successful debut at high level in dressage. He has also produced numerous auction top prices.

His dam St.Pr.St. La Castania received the 1c prize at the Westphalian Elite Mare Show in 2015.

Lord Loxley I, German Champion of five-year-old dressage horses and Vice World Champion in Verden with Jana Freund in 2004, also appears in the pedigree. He then successfully competed up to an advanced level with Heiner Schiergen/GER. He produced 37 licensed stallions and almost 100 state premium mares, as well as the German Champions Lord Carnaby, Laetare and FS La Noir and internationally successful Grand Prix horses.

His grand-dam Donna Castania also produced Bel Amour (by Benetton Dream), who was victorious at advanced (S) level.

Damon Hill NRW, who follows in the third generation of the pedigree, does not have to prove himself anymore – neither in breeding, having produced 15 licensed stallions, such as Daily Mirror/Benjamin Werndl, around 20 premium mares and successful sport horses up to advanced level, nor in sport. In 2012, the son of Donnerhall x Rubinstein won team silver at the Olympic Games in London/GBD and took fourth place in the individual competition with Helen Langehanenberg. He also won the World Cup final, team gold and two individual silver medals at the World Equestrian Games, team gold and silver medals as well as two individual silver medals at the European Championships, double gold at the German Championships and a first place in the dressage Grand Prix in Aachen. And not to forget two gold medals at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Afterwards, Damon Hill NRW paved the way to high level sport for the young rider Jil-Marielle Becks with victories in Hagen and at the Preis der Besten. His great-grand-dam St.Pr.St. Farbenspiel produced the Grand Prix dressage horse Santa Maria (by San Remo).

The stallions Master Jack (by Millennium), Friedensrat (by Ferragamo), Amadin (by Amantus, 1.50m show jumping), the Reserve Champion Be My Dancer (by Benicio) and a premium stallion by For Romance I also descend from this dam line.

German Champion! Westphalian Champion! Stallion performance test winner!
