For almost ten years, Fidertanz has been one of the world’s best dressage sires. For more than three years, the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2021, who was successful in Grand Prix, was even among the top ten in the WBFSH ranking. Fidertanz owes this outstanding position to its two Olympic participants Finland/Camille Carier Bergeron/CAN and Fidertraum OLD/Florian Bacher/AUT. In the Grand Prix arena, Forrest Gump/Remy Bastings/NED, Crystal Friendship/Anabel Balkenhol, Elfentanz/Monica Burssens/MEX, Fiderflame/Ariana Chia/CAN, Faro SQF/Nora Batchelder/USA, Fortuna/Filipe Canelas/POR, Fiderprincess/Jeroen Devroe/BEL and Fabious/Semih Hamdi Ersoy/TUR are still running. Flamboyant OLD/Valentina Pistner won 13 medals at European Youth Championships, including four golds. At the German Amateur Championships, Fürst Fidi was unbeatable under Lara Louisa Braun.
Fidertanz has more than 60 licensed sons, including Franziskus FRH/Ingrid Klimke, who was part of the German World Championship bronze team in Herning/DEN in 2022, and Fiderdance OLD/MoritzTreffinger, who was placed in World Cup dressage. Also worth mentioning are the Grand Prix Freestyle winner Tannenhof’s Fahrenheit/Anja Plönzke and our Nations Cup successful elite stallion Foundation/Matthias Alexander Rath.
In eventing, the Olympic participant from Tokyo 2021, Flandia, as well as the European Championship team fourth Fifty Fifty/Patrick Rüegg/SUI and World Championship team fifth Fallulah/Padraid McCarthy/IRL. Fairytale won team gold twice at the European Youth Championships under Anna Lena Schaaf, in 2019 in Maarsbergen/NED and 2021 in Segeresjö/SWE, and also secured individual gold and silver. In 2018, the pair had already won European Championship team bronze in Fontainebleau/FRA. Victories up to CCI4* are on the books. And then there are Finest Fellow/Elena Otto-Erlay and the Youth European Championship participant Feuertänzer/Friedrich-Bernd Rehkamp.
The prize money of the offspring of Fidertanz, registered in Germany alone, amounts to over 1.51 million euros.
The career of Fidertanz in keywords: 2004 licensing winner of the NRW licensing in Münster, 2005 stallion performance test winner with top marks in Neustadt/D., 2005 Vice German Champion in Warendorf under Maike Löer, 2006 Oldenburg Ia main premium winner, 2010 first advanced (S) level successes up to St. Georges under Vera Nass, 2011 placings up to Inter I with Markus Gribbe, from 2013 victories and placings up to international Grand Prix under António Do Vale/POR, 2021 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year, 2022 seventh place in the WBFSH dressage stallion ranking and 24th place among eventing sires.
The sire Fidermark was Reserve Champion of the NRW licensing in 1994 and won his stallion performance test in Warendorf in 1995 with an index of 141.74 points. In the service of the NRW State Stud, he advanced to the German Champion of four-year-old stallions under Michael Farwick. Under Marlies Van Baalen/NED, he qualified for the final of the Nuremberg Burg Cup and was promoted to Grand Prix. Among the most important offspring of Fidermark are Favourit/Sönke Rothenberger, Florida/Nadine Husenbeth and Forward Looking/Dorothee Schneider.
Fidertanz half-brother San Ravallo (v. San Amour I) was successful internationally in the U25 Tour with Carl-Lennart Korsch/SUI. In 2023, the pair took part in the European Championships in Budapest/HUN. The half-sister Querida Mia (by Quantenkönig) won internationally in the Small Tour under Lukas Fischer. And the half-brother Berney (by Boston) was successful up to Inter II.
The dam Reine Freude also produced the Inter I dressage horses Bogner (by Belantis I) and Deep Red (by Damon Hill) as well as the 1.30 metre show jumper Calua (by Cordino). So far, six licensed sons have been produced by her daughters: St.Pr.St. Sansiera (by Sandro Hit) became the dam of the two stallions Quanticus (by Quaterback) and Elité A (by Escamillo), Amore Mia (by Ampere) produced the premium stallions Bel Amour (by Belantis I) and Escamour (by Escamillo), St.Pr.St. Quintera (by Quaterback) became the dam of the stallion Equalizer B (by Escamillo) and Vaiana (by Veneno) produced the premium stallion, Eighth at the World Championships for young dressage horses and finalist at the German Championships Escaneno (by Escamillo).
The two licensed stallions Disconto (by Diamantino) and Fanconi (by Fuchsberger) as well as the advanced (S) level show jumper Penny Lane (by Polydor) and other medium level dressage and show jumping horses come from the granddam Frühlingssünde.
The third dam Romana became the dam of the two licensed stallions Frederiko (by Furioso II) and Paradiso (by Pilot).
