Their names are Charessino PS/Ben Maher/GBR, Check me out PS/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN, Billy Fern/David Simpson/IRL, Kannoon Blue/Trevor Breen/IRL, Chatadel PS/Erynn Ballard/CAN, Chacoon Fly PS/Manuel Fernandez Saro/ESP, Caen vd Verbindingshoeve Z/Sergio Alvarez Moya/ESP, Chucky PS/Marcel Schneider and Calido’s Blue/Clara Blau and Iggy/Peder Fredricson/SWE – and with their sensational successes in jumping competitions up to 1.55 metres, they carry the ingenious performance legacy of their Father’s Chacoon Blue in the arenas around the globe. Mr Rocky Blue won team gold at the Junior European Championships under Paddy Reape/IRL. Bronze at the German Championships for seven-year-olds went to Chacboy Blue BW/Marco Kutscher, silver at the Danish Championships to Clevermind Axelhoeve Z. And then there is another success for the history books: In 2024, Chacoon Blue produced Chacoona Cat/Sophie Hinners and Chaqueen/David Will, the two German champions of six- and seven-year-old show jumpers. Both talents are already continuing their careers internationally.
Among the more than 60 licensed sons of Chacoon Blue is our Chaloubino PS, second in the Sires of the World final in Lanaken/BEL in 2025 under Patrick Stühlmeyer and third in the Großer Pries of Rastede, after he had previously been seventh at the World Championships for young show jumpers, two-time silver medallist at the German Championships and Oldenburg State Champion. Chacord GB/Alexa Stais/CYP, who is also stationed with us, became Vice Champion at the Dobrock Championships and won a series of show jumping tests for young horses, including the final qualification at the German Championships. Chacoothargos PS OLD/Philip Rüping won silver at the German and Oldenburg State Championships (5y.o.). And our Challasco Blue PS under Patrick Stühlemeyer secured eighth place at the German Championships for five-year-olds after his stallion performance test record victory and his title win at the Oldenburg State Championships.
With the Hann.Pr.A. Charlize presented Chacoon Blue, the jumping champion mare of Herwart von der Decken-Show in Verden. St.Pr.St. Cranberry G became the first Reserve Champion Mare in Westphalia, Smurfan de Levee became the second Reserve Champion in the Netherlands. Laclaire won the Danish Foal Championships.
Chacoon Blue also repeatedly sets sensational auction peaks. For example, his daughter Chacoontilotta PS became the top price of the 46th P.S.I. auction for 3.5 million euros. Zack Boom was 400,000 Euro price highlight at the 20th Holger Hetzel Auction, Chacoon’s Love PS 305,000 Euro price highlight at the 11th F.O.S. Flyinge Open Sales. Chaluculo PS and Chacoone Bahama cost 235,000 and 205,000 Euros respectively at the Schockemöhle PS Online Auctions. Chaccon’s Fly PS was sold to the sponsors of Olympic eventing champion Sandra Auffarth for 85,000 Euros. Casper was 125,000 Euro top jumper in Oldenburg and Chesterfield was the most expensive jumping foal of the 7th Oldenburg Special Edition.
Chacoon Blue achieved top placings in the world ranking show jumping competitions of Frankfurt, Kronenberg/NED, Lanaken/BEL and Oldenburg under his rider Philip Rüping against strong competition, after he had previously placed in the youngster tours of Munich, Neumünster, Paderborn and Opglabbeek/NED.
Chacoon Blue already hinted at his unlimited possibilities in 2014 at his stallion performance test in Schlieckau, which he completed with a terrific final score of 9.4. In 2015, after winning the Deister Championships on the Dobrock, he placed in the final of the German Championships (6y.o.). In 2016, after his first successes in the international Youngster Tour, he won silver at the Warendorf Youngster Championships (7y.o.). Once again, his enormous bascule, his squeaky clean technique and his almost exemplary rideability were impressive.
The sire Chacco-Blue, himself third in the Grand Prix of Aachen and winner of the Grand Prix of Neumünster, was number one in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires for six years in a row from 2017, ranked second in 2023 and 24 and is now in third place. The elite stallion has Olympic Champion, European Championship individual silver and team bronze medallist and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic sixth Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, European Team Champion Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL, second in the Nations Cup Final Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL and EIC Up Too Jacco Blue, seventh in the World Cup final/Max Kühner/AUT. At almost all championships, Chacco-Blue produced the most offspring. Among his well over 100 licensed sons is the current jumping winner of the Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf.
The dam Cindina is a half-sister to the licensed stallion Charity (by Caretano; 1.35 m-Spr.). Her half-sister Widouet (by Baloubet du Rouet) produced the internationally successful Winbishi Coloudina (by Cafe au lait), Carloumino PS (by London)/Patrick Stühlmeyer and Chinoubet PS (by Chintan)/Nicole Lockhead Anderson/GBR. His half-sister Chaccodina (by Chacco-Blue), who was successful in 1.40 metre show jumping, produced Eurostar I (by Diarado), who was sold and licensed at the P.S.I. auction and took part in the 2022 World Championships in Herning/DEN, as well as the licensed stallion Dorado Blue (by Diarado).
The Oldenburg dam’s sire Cartoon, himself born of the performance mating Carthago mal Continue, was successful in the course. With comparatively low breeding use, he produced international top horses such as Cabanus/Emil Hallundbaek/DEN, Townhead Campus, Cancoon and Cargoldo with a high frequency.
Via Domino, Winston, Almhügel III and Agram, the pedigree continues with excellent performance protection.
The great-great-granddam Akelei Z is a full sister of the team Olympic champion Askan/Gerd Wiltfang. Through her, the line leads to the important Hanoverian mare family of the Agenda, from which more than 30 licensed stallions emerged, as well as several internationally successful show jumpers, including Don Ramiro/Hugo Simon/AUT, Gavi/Helena Stormans/GBR, Status FRH/Rodrigo Pessoa/BRA, Let’s talk about/Gerardus Krijnen/NED and the Derby winner Professional Airsare/Christian Glienewinkel.
