Exceptional stallion with fascinating movement

Bretton Woods is a large framed stallion but at the same time is equipped with great physical harmony. Under saddle, he is fascinating to watch as he demonstrates his excellent rideability and extraordinary quality of the three paces. In 2011, he won the Bronze Medal at the World Championships of five-year-old dressage horses. Prior to that, he confidently won the 50-day test of the KWPN as well as the VSN Trophy in the Netherlands, where he was awarded a 10,0 for his rideability. Ridden by Matthias Alexander Rath, Bretton Woods entered the international circuit in places such as Vidauban/FRA, Kapellen/BEL, Perl-Borg, at the traditional Wiesbaden Pfingstturnier and at the CHIO in Aachen where he achieved seven wins and several high placings in Prix St. Georges and Intermédiaire I. Since then he has reached Grand Prix level. As expected, his progeny are especially strong in conformation and movement. His foals often reach high prices at auctions and from his first crop, several of his sons have been licensed, including champion and premium stallions. His first crop of foals turned four in 2015 and were immediately successful in ridden and dressage horse classes. In 2015, his daughter Great Lady TC was Vice-Champion at the four-year old Pavo-Cup in the Netherlands.
Bretton Woods’ sire Johnson was the champion of his KWPN licensing in 2005 and participant in the finals of the World Championships of Dressage Horses in 2007. Internationally he is very successful in dressage with Hans Peter Minderhoud. His dam Annabel, bred to Jazz, produced the licensed stallion Chagall and has for years been one of the most highly ranked mares in KWPN breeding. With the highly significant black sire De Niro, who is currently in first place of the WBFSH ranking of all dressage sires and the highly appreciated Romancier, who is dam sire to Fürst Romancier, the genetics of the dam side are highly secured.

HLP 2010: Niederlande 50 day test: rideability 8, trot 8.5, canter 9, walk 7.5

Bretton Woods: with many international wins in his young career, the future has already started for him!
