Numerous top horses come from the line
As if cut from the face. At Wingman van de Pitsemburg, however, it is not only the striking and eye-catching badges that remind us of his sire Ermitage Kalone, who is already listed as an elite stallion and BWP ambassador. Wingman van de Pitsemburg also grows wings on the course, as his name suggests. At his licensing in Zangersheide and his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, it was not difficult to see: a king of the air is growing up here, to whom nature has set no limits, which is certainly also due to his performance-saturated dam line.
The sire Ermitage Kalone ranks among the best couples in the world rankings with his rider Gilles Thomas/BEL. In 2024, he jumped into the Olympic final in Paris/FRA. The following year, he secured gold with the Belgian team with five clear rounds and bronze in the individual ranking at the European Championships in A Coruña/ESP. At the Global Champions Tour Super Cup in Prague/CZE, he was part of the second-placed team. His soon to be 20 sons include the two Belgian licensing winners Ultra Star JM and Vitalis JS Van Het Hagenbroek. The first offspring prove themselves in the international youngster tour.
The dam Waranka is a half-sister to the winner of the Grand Prix of Donesk/UKR, second in the World Cup jumping of Moscow/RUS, third place in the Grand Prix of Wellington/USA and Bremen as well as seventh in the Championships of Basel/SUI, Uno (by Fuego du Prelet) under Katharina Offel/UKR and Sergio Alvarez Moya/ESP. Waranka also produced the licensed Lancelot van de Heffinck (by Diamant de Semilly), who was successful up to 1.40 m in show jumping. the other top jumpers Jaque Mate (by Caspar aka Berlin; 1.50 m jump), Chapon de Heffinck (by Cabrio van de Heffinck; 1.40 m jump) and Oscar van het Breehof (by Kakka van den Heffinck; 1.40 m jump) as well as the young show jumper Splendid (by Kafka van de Heffinck).
The dam’s sire is the Quidam de Revel son Quite Easy, who began his career in Sweden and became Youngster Champion and later Vice Champion at the Swedish Championships. Under his rider Peter Eriksson/SWE, numerous placings in international courses were added. In terms of breeding, there are more than 30 licensed sons to his name, led by the Grand Prix winner Quadam/Leslie Burr-Howqard/USA, the World Cup finalist Que Pasa and the Nations Cup winner Aleqs as well as Veron VDL and Quinta Real. More than 30 offspring also achieved success in 1.60 metre courses and in five-star eventing, so that Quite Easy was listed in the WBFSH ranking of both the world’s best show jumping sires and the world’s best eventing sires.
The granddam Agrienda is a half-sister to the licensed and successful up to 1.50 m show jumping Balougran Z (by Baloubet du Rouet)/Luiz Felipe de Azevedo/BRA. Her half-sister Agonara (by Cento) also produced the World Championship jumper Calcento JRA (by Calvaro Z)/Koki Saito/JPN and Mylento (by Mylord Carthago), who was placed in 1.50 m show jumping. Her half-sister Agranuet (by Baloubet du Rouet) produced four 1.60 metre show jumpers: Chagrannus (by Chacco-Blue)/Bruce Goodin/NZL, Corbanus (by Corrado I)/ Emanuele Gaudiano/ITA, Veneno (by Chacco-Blue)/Donald Whitaker/GBR and Action Bellevue PS (by Action-Breaker)/Robin Muhr/ISR. Her half-sister Agronda (by Balou du Rouet) was the dam of Silver Shine (by Califax), who was placed at the top in the Grand Prix, Nations Cups and Top Jumping in Calgary/CAN, Lyon/FRA, Barcelona/ESP, Paris/FRA, Wellington/USA, Geneva/SUI and Aachen under Martin Fuchs/SUI and Niklaus Schurtenberger/SUI. In addition, Agronda produced the 1.50 metre show jumper HH Filounus (by Filou de Muze) and the mare La Bamba Z (by Lawito), who in turn became the dam of Chawalino PS (by Califax)/Jeronimo Gimenez Herrera/ARG, who was successful in the World Cup show jumping.
The great-granddam Agrana is a full sister to the mare Argira, who produced the two 1.50 metre show jumpers Chiwago (by Capitol I)/Armin Schäfer and Corano (by Corrado I)/Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst.
