Successful sire debut with foal price highlights
Closely related to our station stallions Epic Zone PS, Extreme U.S. and Fürst Zonik PS
That’s exactly how they should be! The first foals of Total PS please with their wonderful charm, elegant long-leggedness and enormous movement. In Westphalia, Total Power was the top price of the foal auction, Val d’Isere Ave placed in the final of the KWPN Foal Championships and in Brandenburg a son won bronze. The own performance of the Total PS, which is closely related to our station stallions Epic Zone PS, Extreme U.S., Fürst Zonik PS and Lamborghini U.S., and as the second reserve winner of his short test, also knew how to put itself in the limelight under saddle fits in with the sire debut.
His sire is the elite stallion Totilas, who set standards in sport and breeding. In 2009 he won two gold medals at the European Championships in Windsor/GBR and three gold medals at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington/USA in 2010. He also won the World Cup final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch/NED in 2010. Several times he set completely new records in the Grand Prix arena. His offspring reached the big championship stages in record time and quickly catapulted him to the top places in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best dressage sires – currently in second place. As at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo/JPN, three Totilas offspring were again at the start in Paris/FRA in 2024: in addition to our Total Hope/Isabel Freese/NOR, who finished tenth in the individual ranking, Glock’s Total U.S./Hans Peter Minderhoud/NED, who finished fourth in the team, and Gotilas du Feuillard/Corentin Pottier/FRA, who finished sixth in the team. Total Hope and Glock’s Total U.S. are two of the more than 50 licensed sons of Totilas.
His dam Dandra PS is the sister of five licensed stallions, of which Glock’s Total U.S. (by Totilas)/Edward Gal/NED, Zaid (by Zonik)/Alina Röhricht and Dante U.S. (by Dante Weltino)/Diederik van Silfhout/NED can boast successes in the international Grand Prix class. Also licensed are: Mister U.S. (by Grey Flanell), who was successful in the Small Tour, and the Pavo Cup finalist Lamborghini U.S. (by Lord Europe). Other siblings of Dandra PS are the Grand Prix dressage horse Gossip Girl (by Grey Flanell)/Evelyn Eger, the Inter II successful Great Gatsby PS (by Grey Flanell)/Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and De Sondro PS (by De Niro)/Annina Borgström/SWE, who was placed at the Lövsta Future Challenge in Sweden. The Dandra half-sister Zantana RS2 OLD N.O.P. (by Glock’s Zonik N.O.P.), top offer at our P.S.I. auction, won international Grand Prix competitions under her rider Marieke van der Putten, finished fifth with the Dutch team at the European Championships in Crozet/FRA and ranks 13th in the current FEI World Rankings. In breeding, Zantana RS2 OLD N.O.P. produced three licensed sons: our S-dressage successful station stallion Fürst Zonik PS (by Fürstenball) under Isabel Freese/NOR, the two-time finalist for young dressage horses at the German Championships debutant PS (by Deparon)/Dries van Dyck/BEL and a licensed stallion by Don Schufro. Her daughter Secret Zone PS (by Secret) became the dam of the premium stallion and stallion performance test winner Grey Tonic PS (by Grey Flanell), who was sold at our Schockemöhle Online Stallion Auction, and of our award-winning young star Epic Zone PS (by Escanto PS).
He is followed by the dam’s sire Dante Weltino OLD, who competed in two Olympic Games, two World Championships and four European Championships under Therese Nilshagen/SWE, reached the final in each case and secured two European Championship team bronze medals and 13 top ten finishes. Soon 30 licensed sons, including champion and premium stallions, are listed. Thanks to his offspring, such as the Olympic team bronze medallist and European Championship team silver medallist Jagerbomb/Betty Moody/GBR as well as DSP Dieudonné/Raphael Netz, who was placed in World Cup dressage, Dante Weltino OLD is in seventh place in the current WBFSH ranking of the world’s best dressage sires.
The granddam Sondra is herself a half-sister to the licensed Grand Prix stallion Swagman (by Sandro Hit)/Kristy Oatley/AUS and to the mare Viva Contana PS (by Vivaldi), from whom our licensed two-time Pavo Cup and stallion performance test winner Extreme U.S. (by Escamillo) comes. The half-sister Contanita (by Sandro Hit) became the dam of the licensed and Inter II successful Tostolany (by Totilas). Other daughters produce the licensed Jaguar U.S. (by Jovian) and a premium stallion by Vitalis.
The third sire Sir Donnerhall I acquired the status of a trademark stallion at an early age. Second Reserve Champion of his licensing, Regional Champion, stallion performance test record winner, Vice World Champion for young dressage horses and German Champion as well as main premium winner, he can point to over 100 licensed sons.
The fourth dam Contia produced the licensed stallion Carinue (by Carthago) and the 1.60 m show jumper Camilla (by Chacco-Blue)/Denis Lynch/IRL.
The stallions Jaguar U.S. (Jovian), Tostolany (by Totilas) and a premium stallion by Vitalis are also closely related.
