Rare genetics – globally successful!
Vivant van de Heffinck has been one of the best stallions in international show jumping for years, always impressing with his toughness, attitude, agility, agility and super technique. This highly modern stallion was one of the top horses in the world with the Australian Chris Chugg in 2010. In 2011, he was successful in Nations Cups under Katharina Offel and in 2015, at the age of 17, he was successful at the European Championships in Aachen under Cassio Rivetti (UKR). Vivant has a highly interesting outcross pedigree. His sire Fuego du Prelet, bred from the stallion line of Almé Z, was internationally successful in show jumping in 1.60-metre show jumping under Dirk Demeersman. The Holstein dam’s sire Landino, who was bred with great value via Landgraf I-Roman, also successfully flew the Belgian flag with Ludo Philippaerts for many years. Hedjaz, in the third generation, is also the dam’s sire of Otterongo, who finished fourth at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and McLain Ward’s (USA) Sapphire, one of the most successful show jumpers of recent years.
There are already internationally successful Vivant offspring in Australia. In Europe and Germany, Vivant was previously only available via TG semen and was used in a manageable way. In 2015, his first son, Verano, was licensed in Holstein; the oldest offspring are now growing into competition age and have already been successful in show jumping competitions.
Vivant van de Heffinck: The sporting perennial favourite!
