OS licensing winner and Oldenburg main premium winner

2nd stallion performance test reserve champion

The dam Belinda, half-sister to the Sires of the World winner For Chacco TN, placed in Grand Prix

The granddam Chaccos-Lüd is a full sister to Chacco’s Son I and II

The first offspring under saddle confirm all along the line that our celebrated OS Körsierg and Oldenburg main premium winner Conthalou passes on his enormous jumping ability resoundingly. Among the serial winners in show jumping tests for young horses are Cool Touch/Hendrik Dowe, one of several licensed sons of Conthalou. Also worth mentioning here is the second OS Reserve Champion, Chalou. Conthalou foals won gold and silver at the German Foal Championships, and a daughter won the Holstein Foal Championships. In addition, Conthalou presented various auction tops, including the 33,000 Euro price topper of the Oldenburg foal auction, Connery.

Conthalou won show jumping competitions for young horses (grades up to 9.2) and qualified for the German Championships. At his 50-day test in Adelheidsdorf, he also received top marks: 9.0 for jumping style, ability and rideability (9.0), willingness to perform (9.5), (9.0), interior (9.25) and overall impression (9.0). With a total score of 8.86, he was only narrowly beaten in the strong, 35-strong test field as the second stallion performance test reserve champion.

Conthargo’s sire produced a series of top horses, including the Olympic jumpers Conthargo-Blue/Eiken Sato/JPN and Condara/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN, the European Championships show jumpers Caept’n Hoek/Armando Trapote/ESP, the Pan American Games-winning Pia Contra/Nicolas Pizarro/MEX and Abril Iconthon/Leandro Moschini/ARG, and the 1.60-metre show jumpers Costa Quick PS/Mario Deslauriers/CAN, Conchado/Ignacio Maurin/ARG, Cobalino PS/Martin Knudsen/DEN, Concare PS/Mark Bluman/COL, Conchento PS/Gregory Wathelet/BEL, Concona/Ben Maher/GBR, Ciara PS/Simone Blum, sixth at the German Championships and the individual gold medallist at the Junior European Championships in Gorla Minore/ITA, Tailormade Contou/Anastasia Nielsen/MON, and the team gold winner, Conthanja/Coen Williams/IRL. Soon 80 of his sons were licensed, including our Continental Blue, who was placed at the front in Grand Prix, our Oldenburg State Champion, Conkanno PS, and the serial winner in show jumping tests, Conthalor Blue PS, as well as the Westphalian Champion Stallion Con Touch RS, the premium stallion and OS main premium winner Coeur Rouge and the current show jumping winner and reserve champion from Mecklenburg.

His dam Belinda placed second in the Grand Prix of Gijon/ESP and St. Tropez/FRA under Joseph Clayton/GBR and third in the Grand Prix of Wellington/GBR. For Chacco TN (by For Pleasure), licensed half-brother of dam Belinda, won the prestigious Sires of the World final in 2025 under Marriet Smit-Hoekstra/NED. Belinda is also a half-sister to the OS Reserve Champion Corydon van T&L (by Cornado NRW)/Frederic Vernaet/BEL, who won up to 1.40 metre show jumping. The Belinda full sister Balou’s Lüd produced City Banking WH (by Comme il faut), who was licensed and successful in show jumping tests.

Our two performance guarantors Balou du Rouet and Chacco-Blue are in the following generations and secure the pedigree of Conthalou in the most excellent way.

The grandmother Verb.Pr.St. Chaccos-Lüd is a half-sister to the OS premium stallion Los Angeles de la Cense (by Los Angeles; 1.55 m jump)/Adrienne Sternlicht/USA as well as full sister to the two premium stallions Chacco’s Son I and II (both by Chacco-Blue). Chacco’s Son I was part of the victorious German Nations Cup team at the CHIO in Aachen in 2018 and 2019 under Maurice Tebbel, was part of the fifth-placed European Championship team in Gothenburg/SWE and placed at the front in the Grand Prix of Rome/ITA, Hamburg and La Baule/FRA. Chacco’s Son II was the Oldenburg Ia main premium winner in 2015, placed in the German Championships finals and in 1.40 metre show jumping.

The licensed stallions Power Light/Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, Cessna, Durex and Amantino as well as the sport horses Whoopy/Jan Sprehe, Mya Mercedes/Stefan Engbers, Let’s Fly/Erik Kunze and Baldobes/Roberto Prevital/ITA also come from the line.
