With  Fire and Ice J,  we can offer our breeders a highly interesting For Pleasure grandson. Long-legged, full of blood, and ultra-modern, Fire and Ice embodies the prototype of a modern show jumper.

Thanks to his remarkable jumping ability, Fire and Ice J achieved numerous wins and placings in novice, elementary, and medium-level show jumping tests for young horses, including qualifying for the five-year-old Bundeschampionat in 2015. At his 30-day test in Neustadt, Germany, he received a score of 9.0 for his jumping ability and high marks for his character, willingness to perform, and constitution. In addition to qualifying for the Bundeschampionat, the 2016 season saw him achieve numerous international placings in youngster tours. He won the Youngster Tour Final in Wiener Neustadt. At the beginning of 2017, Fire and Ice made his first successful start in a high-level class in Verden, finishing fifth straight away. As the season progressed, his riders Gilbert and Leonie Böckmann demonstrated his potential in international youngster tours, winning in Hagen (see video) and Balve, among other places.

His sire, the Warendorf state stallion  For Contest , is by the two-time Olympic champion For Pleasure and was the show jumping champion at his licensing in Münster-Handorf in 2008. He subsequently filled his roster with a string of victories in young show jumping classes and qualified for the Bundeschampionat. In addition to two licensed sons, he sired the winner of the Westphalian Free Jumping Final in 2015.

Her dam, Verb.Pr.St. Cracker Jane, produced the internationally successful advanced (S) level Westfalia L (by Huracan), the licensed and internationally successful advanced (S) level Eminem J  (by Ehrentusch), as well as his full sister and state premium mare Enya J, who also won advanced level show jumping, and the advanced (S) level dressage stallion Dancing Inwhite (by Dancing Dynamite).
She is also the dam of the licensed stallions Do it J (by Dust Devil 2) and Dominator’s Fire (by Dominator Z).

The dam’s sire, Coronino, from the legendary Holsteiner line 730 B, was a premium stallion and the show jumping champion of his 1999 stallion performance test. After various victories and placings in novice to intermediate level show jumping tests, he achieved successes up to the 2007 German Classics in Hanover. Coronino is also the dam’s sire of Corrado, Camsa, Coconut S, and the licensed Contifex/Denis Lynch/IRL.

His great-grandsire, Lados , won bronze in the Bundeschampionat final and collected numerous victories and placings in advanced (S**) show jumping competitions. Almost 30 of his offspring have emulated his achievements in the advanced (S) level. Wunderlich, a fourth-generation Hanoverian, combines the iron-clad blood of Wedekind and Waidmannsdank xx, which are highly valued in show jumping.

Fire and Ice J has since reached advanced international level and has placed several times in CSI*** competitions, including the Grand Prix of Pinneberg (1.55m). His offspring impress with their ultramodern type, scope, and rideability.
