Rhodium has a pedigree to dream of. Olympic Ferro x G.Ramiro Z x Voltaire x Excurs x Courivlle. His mother, grandmother and great-grandmother all did tests with very high averages in jumping.

The jury described Rhodium as a very well developed stallion, extremely well modelled who stands perfectly in a rectangle. “Rhodium has a good forehand and front and a strong upperline. His legs have lots of quality. He is a wonderful, honest stallion. Rhodium is always prepared to work. His walk as well as his trot has a great length. He trots with a lot of lightness, rhythm and elasticity in his front and hind legs. When cantering we see the same good results as when trotting. The natural ability of Rhodium to become an excellent dressage horse is enormous.

In August 2002 two sons of Ferro placed in the top 10 at the Pavo cup final in Ermelo. Rousseau, another Ferro son, was first and Rhodium 5th. In December 2002 he was second at Weert and 3rd in Hengleo in November. At the stallion competition Zuidbroek Rhodium came first, above Rouseau, the other Ferro son. Jan 2003 at the stallion competition Rhodium placed second to Rouseau first. He was also placed in the final of the stallion competition in 2003 in‘s-Hertogenbosch. In 2003 he was finalist at the Young Dressage Horse in Verden and the Pavo Cup at Ermelo. In the stallion competition 2003 he was third in Weert and in Zuidbroek and he was second in Goes. In the final classification Rhodium came 3rd. In 2004 in Verden in the young Dressage Horse 6 yo competition he came 6th. In 2004/05 stallion competition class Z-ZZ Light, he was first at Hengelo, Weert, and Goes. He was Den Bosch winner of the final and winner of the total competition.

Rhodiums foals have inherited the movement and also the light footed canter of their sire. Rhodium had nine foals at the Ermelo foal show 2005 and the colt Winston became National Champion. At the Stallion Selection 2006/2007, in the pre-selection at Ermelo, 9 sons were again admitted to the second test in Den Bosch.
